  1. I of course can not tell you any more than I have. I pass on as much as I can without causing my friends any difficulties.I do understand if you dont believe but i can only give out so much. At first (when Jan was still manager) Wotte was seen as arrogant and woud eat himself if made of chocolate. When he took over they had a meeting , the whole playing squad and staff.Wotte addressed them and then others had their say.It seemed to bring a lot of things into the open but also I believe that the players became more warm to him. Since then the squad have been more united (not that they were very divided before)and I have been told they were really cheesed off as they really were up for the Watford game.Perhaps it is because they can see a strcture and plan that was not laid out for them before, but a belief is there.
  2. BTF I think encouraging people to buy a house at present would be unwise.(not saying that you are) Our own bank of England are saying we are in for a very bad recession. The estate agents are now trying to whip up a frenzy by talking up the market.i even heard a report saying that there is going to be a housing shortage next year and so it is a god time to buy. Nobody , NOBODY knows what is likely to happen, this may be the good old days in a years time. It is time to baton down the hatches and get rid of as much debt as you possibly can even if it means not having a new car or holiday. I read that the former chairman of HBOS said theor problems were down to the credit markets drying up, lol.nothing to do with letting the derivitive dealers and the rocket scientists being given a free reign. ps I notice your friend Mr Brown's financial advisor has resigned, boy are the chickens coming home to roost for us all due to having those clowns in charge.
  3. He's a pattie boy isnt he, or is it pasty

Would NP keep them up? Tough call.
  5. The Liverpool fans still sing his name and so there is a way to go yet, although Im with you as i dislike him intensely. Giving out an abusive reply to Scud does you no favours as you have been well behaved so far on this thread....
  6. I dont know what a people expert is 1965. I try and assess each and everyone for their merits. NP IMO should have stayed as I enjoyed seeing the fans united.Although after the Burnley/Coventry home games there were not many who came on spouting how great a manager he was. I am well with the people who say RL made a mistake letting him go and also for not of getting rid of Jan.I myself think it is unfair to judge Wotte after 3 games. I again will tell you that the squad is united and they are feeling more confident in what is going on since he took over. I resad on here that the players hate him, I think that is wrong and are starting to if not already respect him and know they will move forward under him.
  7. In your opening post you put 'He is a class act who commands respect' Seems you may be part of the SOME
  8. Ive just looked on the OS and thankfully we are at BC. Not wishing to #### on anyones bonfire but i hope w get a win and that will quell some of the unrest. I dont think we have the luxury of the team unsettled at this crucial time. Im glad LC and MC have backed off for a few days.
  9. What an awfult thing to say.if you are a Saints fan how can you ever think us going down is poetic justice. You need a word with yourself if you think that is OK just so RL looks bad. i may also say that some think that NP will gloat, i think he would rather 20 other clubs in or league go down before we did.He strikes me as a decent man who liked the support he got from our fans.
  10. Wes I may be wrong but are we not at Bristol this weekend.I ve gone and booked some business appointments thnking we were.
  11. do footballers have any pride? It must be hard to make ends meet on 80k a week and so have to do ads to get a little more in.Notice a red tie not a blue one.
  12. Wes to be fair it was NP's team that day as it was his 6th game in charge. The loans did come in later no doubt but you say it was not NP's selection that day.We were knackered in the goalkeepers getting injured.
  13. All due respect Ump, you didnt need to give advice to the members as you had your colours nailed to the mast and if your tone and talk was anything like it was on S4E it was abundantly clear what your thoughts were. As you may well know your views would be respected as you would, like FF ,be seen as an ear to the truth of things.Every word by you to the members would be worth 10 of fans who were not known. You held sway and when LC was wavering the outpouring of outrage and disbelief he might side with RL made him change his mind. Dont misunderstand the power your words had at that time as your standing in the Trust.
  14. that is something i agree with. I understand people saying that Wotte is responsible to a degree with Jan and his failure but from what i have been told that is not the case. I am not happy that Wotte has been made manager but as he's there it is right we give him a few more games to get hs way instilled on the squad. I have informed you what I have heard from the club that the players are up for it and they believe they will avoid the drop. The reults still have been below average but if we had not conceeded the last minute goal we would be now unbeaten in 3.From that we can build, if we dont we are doomed so we need to stay behind the team and new man and pray it is not all talk.
  15. I was under the impression GB and NP were on more than is stated on that article. FF is very friendly with MC so he could be very much closer to the truth.
  16. I do hope your count in other ways is low and so the world may not have too many of you wandering about
  17. We were kicking a ball about at the Sports centre dowmn by the tennis courts and Fred Kemp came and joined in with us , it made our day/week/year. he was with Obrien?? the little scots winge= who wouldnt join in miserable git.Fred also lodged with an old schoolfriend of the time from Shirley school.
  18. I would prefer that RL had kept NP as manager and believe he made a mistake not getting rid of Jan. Saying that I read about the business end and all that and what nonsense that is. Last 6 games Cardiff away ,playing not to get injured(if our lot had got stuck in they would have hid) lost 1-0 Bristol City home a good 2-0 victory. Charlton away 1-1 Burnley home, a team mid table playing for their holidays lost 1-0 WBA away a great result somewhat fortunate but still a great result 1-1 Sheff utd home, a rollercoaster luckily SU realised at h/t they couldnt make playoffs won in a day of overwhelming high emotion. won 3-2 Business end of the season won 2 drew 2 lost 2 .I think that telss its story he did ok but nothing exceptional. He had the service of SJ and some highly paid loans came in.Some did exceptionally well others poor, but that can be said for all managers. NP IMO is an ok manager, lets see next season how good he is. As for RL letting him go , it was a major mistake and will be one of the main reasons he lost his opportunity EVER to win over the fanbase again.NP unified the fans and although I dont rate him highly but I was more than happy to have him here this season.
  19. and you cant put it up on here I assume
  20. LM wasnt it? You've got mee thinking now we won the first leg 4-0 with Nick holmes scoring from long distance..yes?
  21. It comes with the territory. i have posted things tat ive been privilaged to hear and then you get the jibes and snide rmarks.Thankfully the silent majority do understand what you have done, in I believe, good faith. Anyway where is the evidence you fraud
  22. some are doing a serius job on you Cardiff. Your credit rating will be required in a moment, could you also provide a copy of your driving licence and passport
  23. No Im happy with my first wording.
  24. I had forgot about him as well,
  25. To be fair they rate them to have such a list of names.SGE favourite! He gets paid millions, allegedly must be quite a lot of arms getting through those tunnels into Gaza after all.
