No it was a case i believe that the fans had seen the team play very well. We have seen it many times and then not scored and the oppostion nick the points. It was a relief that we got our rewards and alos a passion for the team. It is easy to mock my observation but the crowd definately celebrated the goal in such a way you'd think there was a capacity crowd.

Robbie, there is no laughing at fans. The fans IMO understand and are behind the young players who show an attachment to ur club

it was the volume I was commenting on, I obviously made that not clear enough for you sorry

I went to the game expecting an atmosphere of turmoil and unrest. I was pleasantly surprised that the support was 100% behind the team. Yes there were a few peple holding up Lowe out posters, but that was all. The fans except against Forest home have been superb and long may it be so. When we scored the roar was like the ground was full.

Derry Im surprised in your assessment of DMG in yesterdays game. It took you a long time to appreciate Davis i do hope you will be mor3e open minded in taking a liking to DMG. He has taken stick and he did run and chase, and also scored. He looked dangerous most of the game and it seemed he plays better alongside a big forward rather than up by himself.

can you enlighten me what an motivator of the old school is ?

Of course you would , as you sit at home with your feet up watching teletext. It frustrates me that fans moan we havent won when they havent spent the time going and watching the team. TRhe entertainment they get is from the result not the performance and so that is why sometimes we do not see eye to eye. I and others go for the love of the game and our team. We want us to win as muich as anyone but at the same time appreciate it if the team played good football. It would be perfect if we could conbine good football with wins, and then we would all be pleased. Before the game I couldnt believe the team Jan sent out and was very much on his back, but the players who came in were very good.Patterson did well and it released DMG to plauy his best game for quite a while. The young McClaggon was a great plus, he was like Dyer but stronger and got stuck in, his set upo for the goal was brilliant. Perry should start every game as he is cool and composed. Cork and DMG were the star players although they all played their part.

I do get it, some are staying away. I dont want ot be seen as supporting RL at present while he keeps Jan as manager. I point out that we can llok back at history and that tells us that there are not thousands waiting to come back. I doubt it is more than a few hundred at most. Manchestewr Utd is a sell out, not because 17000 man u fans have got tickets but because 15000 people who are Saints friendly want to watch us against quality pposition.RL is here and they bought the tickets. Jan has to be moved aside and RL is making a massive mistake if he doesnt act soon. A new man still will have the same squad but we need someone who will get the lads confidence that they are good enough top win some games

I dont accept the idea is wrong it is the wrong man implimenting it. The club was heading for financial meltdown and so we had no option but make massive cuts.

He fronts up the abuse, something that Ashley didnt. The reading game is going to be an unenjoyable day.I go to watch the football and enjoy the atmosphere, not listen to 90 minutes of the chairman being sung about.

Morph all due respect but the crowd you were backing(all the drip drip of them just about to move etc) have let us down big time.We were looking forward to having hope. They were all talk and since RL and wilde has come back they have slashed the clubs costs. So perhaps adminsirtration has been put on hold relegation has not it seems. I will lose my patience with RL if he does not act decisivily and accept he has ben wrong in his choice of manager who is not cuting it.The youth/home product thing I can accept the inept mangement I cannot. The side selected was always going to be too weak. I say again I cant understand what Jan is saying and so how can expect the young players to understand orders on the pitch.
