Administration is the ONLY way to break this downward spiral

they bought to call air sea rescue then -
I went to my cousins funeral friday. While I was there I was speaking to her husband and he told me. The week before she passed away a stannah type lift was fitted at her house by the NHs. It was used once and last week it was removed and thrown out. Her husband told them to be careful as it was brand new and he was told it was to be dumped!!! This is madness, as her husband said she didnt die of leprosy. My cousin's sister is going to write to the NHS and complain about this terrible waste of money.

If it was LC or any other chairman I doubt you would think the same. Has the Charlton chairman left yet? I would love the club to be rid of the lot, lock stock and barrel.Do you wish the same? Who in the board do you trust? I see a lot of chaff there. -
I think we will be hamered and humiliated on tv . It doesnt bear thinking about, I will go with hope in my heart but I dont expect to be there at the final whistle.

I cant recall saying NP not agreeing to work under constraints but we dont know how the interview went. i do accept that he was not likely to get the job as it appears Jan and co were already pencilled in. I do agree that NP is doing well at Leicester but I think he has a tremendous squad for that league and so it is hard to tell. i do know that this league is not rocket science, you need a lump at centre half a muscling lump at cemntre forward and then a team of footballers around them. I love the beautiful game and want to watch good football but that is falling apart as the players seem to be losing faith in Jan.

I agree Jan is not the man for the job. If RL acts decisivily in the next week or so, any new man has more than enough time to get us out of the mire.If he appoints a backroom replacement then that is foolish. Again i dont know what the club can afford at the present. -
I dont know who would be better. I still stand by the fact that RL's main objective is to stave off administration. He saw a way of doing so and implimenting them. I have always been doubtful about Jan but tried to give him a chance. I have given him until christmas and now believe he is not up to it.Rupert Lowe it is time to act.

I do hope you dont mean me Ump as I have no contact with any of them, thankfully. Im still smiling from your posts last night, they really did cheer me up and brought me out of my bad mood before i went out with friends.

I think the major thing I dont agree with on DW's post was that the board got us relegated. They were a part not the whole. We had so many reasons, and we were relegatred by the fact we didnt score 1 more goal home or away at WBA. The margin was so small. Everton and Arsenal (Wigan and Hull in recent history) are the only teams never to be relegated, it happens. It was probably the worst period in football history to be relegated when we did, but there are many factors for have been so. -
for me I dont point the finger at one person and think if he goes all is then hunky dory. It would gall me to see RL go and then know that the rest of the crew who hide in the shadows are stil there enjoying their perks and privilages. I cant see that any of them deserve to be there and the lot without exception should go (although i do believe LC is the closest to the others to put his money where he mouth is). The last lot lost the biggest opportunity in the clubs history and so they should hang their heads in shame. The only clever thing they did was to muddy the waters so the fans didnt really fully believe that there was PA around. I would point to who did say he was Lc and a highly respected journalist put his reputation on the line. I know many will scoff but that serves the old board well that fans do.

thanks for that OSM, your ramblings make Cantona seem coherent.

RL has to act and remove Jan from his job as manager. I dont like to keep changing managers but RL made a misjudgement in appointng him as he does not have the tactical knowhow or the ability to inspire the team. To be fair to the players I cant understand a lot he says during his interviews and so how can those lads understand a lot what he wants from them.
-
H e is out of his depth and as much as i dislike constant change he needs to be replaced.I was thinking as much as people dont like Billy Davies the refs wouldnt get away with their inept performances. Our players dont argue just give the ref aqn easy ride , much like a load of schoolboys would
-
He s not my chosen manager
-
Um I know you didnt mean too, but in this evening where Im really narked this post really made me smile. Thanks Ump I am feeling a lot better.I can feel the passion and if you and me were on the pitch those lads would be working al ot harder as in our own ways we'd motivate them that they would nt dare not lose.

I dont agree with this in chapter in verse but so much is correct. -
you could add many others to that list.He still is being asked to play up front alone and as we are not scorting goals he is shopuldering the blame. We did not create much for him to latchj on to.
-
But the arguement was not about transfer fees being taken it was about Pompey were going to lose their major players and being a player who commands massive wages and a internationally recognised player , he is a major player.Merovian has made the statement I took him up on his bet and then he qualified it by cutting out a couple of their main men.
-
as a supporter of the idea of utilising the youth it saddens me, but Jan is not up to it.
-
So i should not defend what is wrong IMO then? DMG is being asked to play as a lone striker, it is ridiculous and he is suffering for it.You mix up his demeanour with lack of ambition or desire, it is nonsensicle.
-
Well you have been proved wrong as he hasn't
-
Oh so its ok to boo the players? i boo the fans who booed DMG. It was not the majority.I found it interesting that we had a return of a lot of fans today and the crowd was less supportive. The hardcore have been fantastic this season turning up week in week out, and have got behind them. Weget the return of many part time ones and the mood was far from supportive. If you wish to boo DMG be consistant and boo Lallana who couldnt take a corner or Surman who didnt make a mark, or Pearce who made a horrific mistake. We are not in a position to be able to crush one of our players confidence so he is unable to play. I was/am as angry as anyone on here but i dont let it be to the detriment of the clubs health.

No doubt RL would have liked that (5-0)the same as me, unlike some who have pleasure posting after a depressing defeat.

No I am in a foul mood. -
I liked seeing the ground 3quarters full today but then when i saw how the team were not supported like they have been recently i realised that it might be better to only have 14k crowds. It was shameful how the fans booed him.How about Lallana, he did sfa but is immune to the criticism. It is clear the abuse is getting to DMG and his confidence is shot. The lad is expected to play up front on his own against 3 defenders who were more experienced.
