  1. great business IF TRUE and woulld be mad not to take it whatever their financial position. It is odd how the transfer figure was only 9m yueaterday and today its 24
  2. Dont come up with that the thread was dead and you answered 6 days later. I notice you are back now that the Diarra deal looks a high figure but gone for days on end when your back was against the wall. Your big talk and the takeover was certain made you disappear. As for the thread on the MS I dont recall Crouchs 3 chances, they were not as clear as the ones missed by Milan. Anyway your fans have returned to normal only turning up to watch the top teams. A club that has only recently won the FA cup still cannot fill a 20000 ground. It is pathetic and deep down you know it is true but will bluster on that it is normal..lol
  3. James, Sol and Krankjar are big players for you, well they are in my eyes. I dont expect you to include people like Davis etc So we will wait and see but I count the three listed above as big players especially as they are on massive wages

Show me hard facts we have to sell, that is facts that have not come from a jackanory journo. If you can find facts then also include tony adams comments today that we are in fact going to have funds in Jan. We have agreed to sign Belhadji for £3M in January ! I will be happy for you to contact Baj or Granty to put your money up so we know it gets paid and I will do the same. You tell me what you count as your top players and we can then get a list to make sure it is fair to both parties.Any winnings due to me can be made payable to Naiomi house childrens hospice. Leyt me know how to procede Just in case you missed my post from yesterday
  5. perhaps 10k pw wage rise may help
  6. No just a tease BTF. I have a bit of a problem with the cosy public sector as I hate seeing the waste of all our taxes.I know there are many fantastic people in the sector and I have no problem with them but there seems to be a culture of mismanagement and squandering money on jobsworth schemes. I understand that is generalisation, but it is such a massive animal it is hard not to generalise. It will never change, I cant see any government ever having ther guts to take the civil service on. The government wont rock the boat as the inconveinient governmental mistakes will become the potential to be leaks. The classic case of you scratch my back etc As for you BTF I have faith that you do a cracking job.I do hope you find some massive mistakes and bring the instigators to task, and not allow them to go on early retirement and a massive pension.
  7. PFC=Wigan of the south did you notice the Fratton end was empty in added time sunday? Those Pompey til I die fans must have had a mass suicide as they all had gone. More plastic at Pompey than at Tupperware party.
  8. Will the auditor be cut then? A mistake that big really is not something that should be allowed to go by. I wonder how many other of these things are out there to be found out. It is a bizarre time in our lives.
  9. I was relaying Jan had said to Martyin Tyler a fortnight ago.
  10. where were the auditors? Who is in charge of overseeing these things. What with the banks not knowing how to run businesses and the govenment allowing these co## ups with the publics money whatever next

  12. Derry I understand and agree with you.I was one early on who questioned lallanas ability ie in shooting and end product. I also do not wish to criticise him too harshly as the fans love to make a hero and villain. DMG is the villain while AL has the fancy footwork that gets him out of jail when it comes to fair criticism. Lallana is still learning and does have some wonderful skill he just needs to be coached into making the right decisions and learn to make the difference in the 18 yard box not on the halfway line.he also needs to learn to challenge for aerial balls. I want him and DMG to develop into the players they have to potential to become and so am trying to hold off slagging any of them off.
  13. I would have liked BD here before Jan. We have now made the decision to go with the youth, something that financially is correct. NP I hae respect for but dont see him as anything special. People will of course point to Leicesters results but they like Pompey had MM's millions behind them and so have not had to sell their players. They have a very good squad that should have easily stayed up,. NP has got disipline into the side and they will get promotion unless they start to falter like most clubs do in the second half of the season when leading for so long. I think we have a road chosen and we will keep to it, perhaps having a change of manager but the same players in the main.
  14. perahaps Stoke want to be the new saints, Higginbottom, Delap Surman and Lallana ..oh and Andrew Davies. we'll probably do a straight swap those 2 for Pulis's son
  15. Jan told Tyler that he thought Euell couldnt read the young players minds in how they passed and played.Or words to that effect. To me that was terrible man management as it made Euell look either stupid or not any good. Some will say that is correct, but to me he is what we need , although I didnt see him play at Burnley and so may be wrong.
  16. I could not believe what Jan was supposed to have said about him to the commentator before the Palace game. If Jan does not rwate him then perhaps he will go but I myself have faith in his professionalism and will to be a major part in helping us out of the mire
  17. why?
  18. I tell you why he has not been ousted by us.If Mugabe was ever assinated by someone of whatever creed or colour the finger would be pointed at the whites/British. He is still a revolutionay hero to many of his countrymen after his exploits before Smith gave up power. That would mean a backlash against the white population and a bloodshed that would never be forgiven and so strife will be there forever. He will be allowed to live to a peaceful death. It is sick but politics, I have been told our government has stopped a couple of attempts on his life for this very reason.
  19. I didnt know Scargill lived in Spain
  20. Kevin we live in a blame society and so people need someone to blame. DMG is the current fall guy. Fans dont wish to see the plusses, although to be fair there are a lot who are supportive.3 weeks ago BWP had loads of threads about him.It seems to become a hero you have ot be loaned out and then you become a must have legend.
  21. Is this a joke?
  22. no you disappeared when the going got tough, jusrt as I said you would/did. You have been shown up as the big bragger and bag of wind you are. Goodbye as you will flit away until you can come and start with the big one again
  23. we needed to join 2 years ago when the pound was at its strogest. We would be more wealthier than if we have to join when we are at parity.
  24. IMO opinion he didnt touch the ball but as the commentators said he made a meal of the3 way he went down. Iam more than happy with Rudi and he did ok.He linked well with BWP and if we had someone instead of Roberstson we may have got some reward.
  25. As much as it pains me to say that Um is right I have to do so on this occasion. He has just turned 21. Therefore DMG does have to get his mind in gear and start to show consistancy or he will be another who looked to have a bright future and let it go to waste.Im still prepared to give him some slack and would like to see him with a experiienced physically strong forward up wit hhim
