Offix, 2-3 seasons ago many fans were telling us on here they 'wanted anyone but Lowe.' Fans like myself questioned the choice and were not fooled by the Wilde bunch.We swallowed the nonsense and took it gracefully but with trepidation. The fans who could see through the madness didn't start the 'Im not going while they are here.' etc but carried on supporting the club even though it was patently the wrong choice at that time. That reckless period of 'football first' was patently not right and we are now further back than IMO we would be now if we had stayed patient and waited for a proper group to come forward and take us on. In that time that the new lot were here the worlds economy was in a better state . Having just taken over i doubt that other parties would have looked at us and the new people i doubt would have sold as they were putting forward their new fan friendly scheme. Now RL has come back, not as a saviour in my book but to get some sort of plan going to keep the club alive. Now of course it is not to some fans liking that RL has returned but at least there is a plan (that may fail miserably) but at least the club and squad know which way they are going.

Ive defended him as well, and i state that he will become a top player.

If you are rabid anti Lowe it will be a fest.Mark Dennis does not hide his anti Lowe position and so it will hardly be a balanced debate.He was a great full back for us though

Um if those figures of losing 9m cash and the 7m parachute payment come to 16m. That was first season down, surely then the losses should have been cut considerably after that. We knew we were where we were and so should have taken steps (whoever was running the ship) I dont think our costs are much less even now. As for the millions lost by being relegated, yes that is a fact but as we both know it was not just down to 1 person.We were not in the bottom 3 when HR was appointed in fact I think we were quite a few points above, and so he was given ample time to make us safe.I will not go through all the other reasons of us avoiding the drop but like Leicesters relegation last season, there was no way that squad should have gone down.(I do notice the comparison of 3 managers in a season) That is what irks me about your standpoint most that you blame RL solely for our relegation when he was only a part of many reasons. As a personality I dont care for him ( I have never met him in the flesh and so dont know what h is likeaway from the media) but I can see what he is trying to do and so support that way ahead.

If you read my posts on here you will see I dont salivate about him. Your attacks/criticism were always too far and I am glad that you are big enough to admit he is not all bad.If we meet somewhere in the middle then we both may be closer to the truth.

you obviously have great affection for Wiseman ,Trant, Corbett. For me 2 of the three have been sat there enjoying the fruits of the positions they hold for years. Trant came in on the back of the Wilde bunch and did not deliver either as far as Iam concerned. I would not worry if the lot disappeared into oblivion (I mean all the directors etc) and we were left with an alternative, but if you would trust those so called fans with running things then more fool you. LC is the closest to putting his money where his mouth is, but all the ones who have sat and voted and not had the backbone to really stand up for the club for decades should not be given any slack.It galls me to know that thise people hiding in the shadows still enjoy the perks even though the club is in financial trouble.

I think a lot of that is true. If you get used to having discounted tickets it hurts to have to pay full price.

I havent read the whole thread but has anyone brought up the fact apart from LC RL MW the others in the bunch have done a really poor job. Wiseman Corbett and Trant , fans who have overseen this disaster by saying nothing it seems.

LC is putting up an honourable defence and he looks to care a great deal. It is his right to answer to the other things said. It is a shame that the wounds have been opened wider, as his mentioning of NP still being here causes division. If the club did not do his cost cutting he wished for ,why did he not impliment them immediately when he was chairman? He is right that the club needs investment but where that is likely to come from lord knows.

I have been a great supporter on here of KD from some really poor attacks on him.Saying that I dont believe he is top international class but a very good keeper that would not be out of place in a good side in the PL.

Mb has got someone winding him up, or it is a bunny boiler.

Im not saying that Llloyd is in Bales class but GB was not good a defender.LJ is learning his position and that will take time.
