  1. they can do nothng as they are not the gov. They can make suggestions that the gov might knick. Why has the government failed to tax the non-doms there is massive revenue there for picking. These are fat cats who make massive money from the City and dont pay into our system.I am very pro people making money but I detest ppeople like Sir Phillip Green making millions and then not paying taxes into our economy. It should be looked at, the Americans have laws to stop this happening and I read that the IRS were trying to make the Swiss banks give them details of accounts of the main fund manager of UBS, the Swiss of course are hiding behind their privacy laws.
  2. Ron im with you about Dyer I also rated him and think the injury he had at Leicester last season has taken his spark and a bit of pace
  3. thanks Steve I was away and so missed that. Morgan has elbowed others in the past, I think it was when they were in the PL.
  4. I agree he has been poor. The problem the Tories and others face is that they can't look as though they are jumping on our grave.Brown and co have upped their game since they took back Mandelson who knows how to manipulate and duck and dive.As the nation sees that what they have done is waste and spent and the finances dont improve they will turn on him again.
  5. but I thought they were going to to a supa dupa new stadium, it's getting very confusing.
  6. A timewaster.....only kidding
  7. Ron I was behind the goal and from where was I thought DMG did well to get his head to it.As for passing it to AL it would have meant stopping to look back where he was and Robrtson was the most likely option. Still it was a good chance and he did make a mess of it. I still am one of the fools who enjoy watching the team develop and yes some will go but I feel an attachment to those young players who IMO are keen to do well for us .
  8. The fans have let the board be divisive to us. I dont know how the Charlton or Watford fans view their own boards but i suspect they are a little less vitriolic, but who knows we are talking footy fans. SJ is not my idea of an ugly centre forward, I would want one in the image of Iwelumo or the like a brute with a bit of pace and movement. As for the fans not coming , there are lots of reasons, the board being 1 but the main is that we are not winning or in the PL. Get a glamour tie in the FA cup and then you will see the fans turn up.RL still there wont stop them coming. We have to be realisitic the majority are not coming as they have been spoilt and want to watch the top teams, not us.
  9. because you said that the tories were the ones that disliked people of colour and it was to underline that it is not the cae
  10. I dont believe we are a rascist country either. I think that anyone born in the country of any colour or creed is British and am proud of any person representing our country. The potential rise in the BNp is down to peoples frustration that they feel marginalised where our ways are seen as offensive and we have to let what we see as alienways being forced upon us. For christmas carols and cards being banned or poppies not allowed to be worn as they might offend seems to make people fear our culture being erased.
  11. I dislike the Liberals more than the Labour as at least the Labour lot have an opinion.
  12. and how many coloured people were in the Labour party at that time?
  13. for me the lounge and MS are good reasons to join the site.I think that non members shoulkd start threads and that bewbs should be allowed. If it is to stop kids viewing them i do understand but they are hardly not on show in national newspapers and the local shops.
  14. You are wrong IMO.DMG will become a very good player.
  15. why cant we have a few bewbs posted on here? I liked MB's posts. If the national newspapers can publish them why noy here?
  16. do you mean KFC new mega drive through, that is more likely.
  17. I'm lost on this , who is Morgan and what is the offence???
  18. but it is a pittance BTF. We are heading for deflation if we are not careful and that is scary. It may seem great that prices keep falling back but people then dont know when to buy as they think that prices will be less the following week and so stop spending. I cant see a way out of this quickly. The government and bankers all were like pigs in muck drawing in the profits and taxes and couldnt get off the merry go round unil we have got this situation.
  19. That is a disgraceful comment. You should get your rose bigotted tinted glasses off. There are people in all sections of society who dislike people of colour.Dont tell me the yobs or scum who call people the n word are tories or BNP.It is in society whatever colour of politics you agree with

    Basketball

The entertainment and keeping fans interested was first class. I hate the pre match waiting and half time at saints. Clubs have tried the soccerette thing but the quality of the gilrs and their dancing was superb, something that we over here lacked when we tired it. I also wondered if we perhaps gave food vouchers out at games to say kids accompanied with parents so the kids got a burger or yorkie with their ticket
  21. good idea but while fans have the mindset that the money is somehow going into RL's pocket it is not going to happen
  22. Wes you have seen the accounts, surely a campaign against whoever is in charge is pointless. We still play football the proper way and YES I want to win but people still disrespect our opposition as though they are mugs. They were not and their league position tells you so. We need a big brute of a centre forward to play with DMG and then we would get more scrappy wins but forgwet not there were a lot on here who said we'd be relegated by christmas and being 4 points away from the drop zone is far from disasterous. Obviously if we lose to charlton then it is not good but I for 1 am pleased that the fans who went last night are bright enough to stay with the team and are trying to be patient.
  23. What sitter was that then Ron? Surely not the header when he was jumping with their defender. As for the golden chance I assume you mean the one when he rounded theoir keeper. To me he did it right but their defender deserves credit for getting back and clearing the ball away. As for the chance in the first half where he did make a **** up it was Robertson who hw was going to pass to
  24. first half we played well. BWP was the outstanding player in that period where he caused their defence a lot of problems. We then stopped passing to him and we lost our way.2nd half we started ok but Sturrock made 2 changes and they bossed the game and should have scored.DMG unfortunate not to score as their defender got back brilliantly to stop hom scoring after he rounded the keeper. Robertson had no desire or effort and was surprisingly poor. I know this is not a popular comment but Lallana looks very pretty 15 yards from the box but where it counts he is anonymous. When the ball comes into the box he is nowhere near it, he doesnt compete in the air and like the rest fails to make a shot on goal.I love his skill but he does have to get more strikes on goal and become more effective in the last 1/3rd to become a top player. BWP Motm for me. ps a draw was a very fair result cosidering Plymouths 2nd half showing. They are not a fantastic side Ill agree but they did cause quite a few problems second half when their nippy forward was winger/midfielder buzzing about
  25. Charles Kennedy was a member of the socialist worker party i think you will find, Alistair Darling also has very left wing agendas in his past. We are in very dangerous times, some would love anarchy and the fall of capitalism but IMO it is not something that should be wished for. there again some are happy for Saints to go into administration and so why should I be surprised?
