I agree the club have let us know the overdraft has gone up to £8m, frankly Im not surprised if the club was losing 100k's a week (I still am not sure how much it was, but it was ranging from 100k -400k)when RL came back. Perhaps fans may understand more why Davies was sold and high wage earners were loaned. -

LS I would hope it was taken as more than a slight vote of confidence. I have no doubts you would not intentionally hurt the club you and i both adore. Just that we come from different directions but both completely want the same. Something obviously you have been made aware of and it has got your attention and so you wish to help. It is something most of us would do. -

Please tell us where we know that is happening? We have to temper all these things with understanding some good people in the past have been used , as their love for the club and wish for us to do well has blinded them to what really they are bing used to do. The last I heard, it was some weeks ago, that allegedly AC was very happy how things were going financially. Again that may be wide of the mark as I was not there when it was said. LS has told us he has information and I believe his word but the source may not be so trustworthy. If the source is 100% correct it is right to take action, but from where I stand looking in and I was the bank I would surely think 'yes he's taken a knife to the costs, and whilst it is not reduced as much as we'd like we are in uncharted financial territory where massive companies are in trouble.' Now LS may be furnished with better details and that new people are coming in to wipe the debt (oh please let that be and a little to invest) but at present we have been fed a few scraps and i dont want another 'Football first, revolution unless they can come up with the goods. -

that in the maion would be fine by me. As long as all the rest were shipped off and not to darken the clubs door again. It irks me looking at so many of thise selkf satisfied people in the directors box drawing off the club and giving nothing back. -
Hypo then we need to perhaps to get a groundswell of members to ask for this. The members would enjoy some of the bizarre and thoughtful threads that the non members put up and perhaps that would stimulate the site. There are many registered members who would start threads and we all benifit . Im going to pm one of the main lads and ask if it can be done, others might like to do so as well

Unless he is going to install Salz as chairman. -

Wes I think your first sentence is unfair. RL had 5to return to try and get the costs slashed and has tried a visionary approach to it (I await the normal nonsense at that statement) We are only at the very early stages of it and whilst I would like RL gone only so it would mean the fanbase could unite, it seems the most credible way of providing longterm safety if the new lot haven't much money to put in.I agree with Phil it seems that all we will get is more of the same but them taking apart a bit of the progress we have made in the last few months. The worlds wealthy people have taken a real battering and lost loads of disposable cash, so why will they come and drop 10m into us? LC is a fantastic businessman in his industry and I admire him for that, but with due respect I cant see him affording to put 10m into the club and risk losing it. -

Morph all due respect and all that but were those not the words you gave to us a few months back when the Fulthorpe thing was at its height, it may have been even the back end of last season. I dearly hope you are right but please excuse my cynicism as i really dont mean to question your words. I have indeed been told a few times by different peoplethat the money is signed up and they are about to procede and then nothing. It is so frustrating. May i also ask, if you have an ear to the powers that be, if you get rid of RL etc please make sure the whole bl''''y lot are gone, the people who have been in the background for decades feeding on the club and taking perks bvut giving nothing in return. Thanks Nick -
that's another good reason to have a subscription

Again I really dont know what RL is doing about getting investment. I would expect with RL's time in the City he maybe more discreet than perhaps other parties who made their wealth in other industries. If RL goes tomorrow, we need someone to come in and invest a lot of money to get us in a better position.LS please let us know that the new people can at least get us out of the prospect of the administrators and we are safe from it. -

I was wondering, but surely LS would not puta person into such a difficult position. -

Ump, I agree, but generally the fans are accepting what is happening on the pitch (if we win I dont care who runs things,if we lose I do. Thats being a fickle football fan) I dont know FC but have read his posts and have always felt he tries to be balanced. Yes he was worried and i suggest he still is but you must understand that when a post is put up telling us the end is nigh, the chairman is losing trust with the bank etc and when a counter arguement or question put up you are told to shut up, 'as its true, as I said it was' Some may be hearing things from the club (source etc ) but haven't we been down that road many times before. It is not that the person hasn't integrity but we seem to be embroiled in nasty politics and the wheat needs to be sorted from the chaff. -

Thats the problem, I look first at what is happening on the pitch and so think that is important, and is to me personally as a fan. -
no SRS that would be great for you. Let non members start threads, and see if that was popular and go from there.

Have you read GiveittoRons explaination of how things are about this? He seems more anti RL than a lot but put up something plausible on that question that he had been reliably been told. We have to take these things on face value and it does make sense. A lot of people have been used as pawns on here by all sides and so it could be dangerous to beleive all chapter and verse. -

Well you might not think they aren't LS but genarally the fanbase are supportive of the way the playing side is moving on. Fans have accepted the position we are in and in the main do not care about the boardroom wrangles and supporting the team. You must understand that whilst you have a crusade and personal wish to rid the club of RL a lot are prepared and realistic to understand the way things are. You tell us that the LC group are closer to take over, that is fine but will they appease the bank and work with what we have got or tear it apart and start again. I'm not sure that I want the upheaval of change again so quickly. A lot of fans are confused what is going on and no doubt the players dont need the uncertanity. Get your friends to move quickly and a clean deal without leaving people nursing wounds. Surely the club cant go through another long vote and EGM -

So how would Tessem help us? Tessem was hardly a passing player and was only adequate and has since been released by L2 Bournemouth. Just because he played for us once doesnt mean he is right to fit into the dynamics now and i doubt he would be doing it free of charge. -

If it is only shares changing hands it is just another case of reaaranging the chairs on the Titanic. So a pro LC group buys the shares, we get no investment but LOwe pushed out A pro Lowe group buy the shares and we are where we are. To me neither gets me excited, and in fact perhaps the first versdio9n may mean more upheaval just as things may be starting to settle. Again all I want is a clean sweep of the whole lot. -

Mark Dennis is very anti Lowe, and is vey much pro LM so Im not surprised he says such things as Lowe is running things as he wants to raise the pressure -
Not me. I wouldnt gloat too much , its a marathon not a sprint and the average mortgage rate over the years is 8% and higher rates will return in the next few years.

I would have thought to reduce the FREE posts to 1 would be a better idea. If the owners cave in and give the non payers extra then the aid up memebers are less likely to rejoin next time. It is a case that the Saints are not arousing passion at present and so the interest has waned. The best idea i would have thought was that the non members could start threads, and then that might add a bit more interest and get numberrs through again. It is the threads that genmerate the input and so get all to be able to start up the threads.Once a non memeber starts a thread no doubt their interest is improved and in turn the 3 posts a day will not be enough and so will pay up.

thanks that is great news. He did a lot that kept them going. Its starting to tear at the seams, they will miss his steel. I thought he would be disappointed he was not offered the job, and for them trying to get Keown just undermined him.
