Doyle and the others you mention are so much older and experienced. DMG is the man who has been saddled with leading the line, that is a lot to take on for a young lad.It is not as though he has an old head alongside him to guide him through it.

It is good that Jan will speak honestly and openly. As for being cute and commercially savvy that is a different thing. The chairman /club have a rseponsibility to to everyone from shareholders to the fans to make sure a statement by one of its employees does not cost us as a club/business as in make it look as though we need money and so that in turnmakes our bargaining position weaker.
