It is good that Jan will speak honestly and openly. As for being cute and commercially savvy that is a different thing. The chairman /club have a rseponsibility to to everyone from shareholders to the fans to make sure a statement by one of its employees does not cost us as a club/business as in make it look as though we need money and so that in turnmakes our bargaining position weaker. That is why i believe that financial questions were off limit.Not everyoe understands the politics of these things and also where Jan speaks his mind would suggest to me he is not RL's lapdog like some like to make out.

I was only answering teh thread as i see it.I do know that there will now be a load of abuse, but there you go. As I say a poor bunch.NP would be close only for the reason the fans were united by him, but I for 1 am not convinced by his tenure. Had HR stayed and the fans kept behind him I suspect he would now have us back in the PL.

It depends how you look at it.BWP might be like his father a late developer and the last few games he has shown more of what we hope for.DMG I think is still only 19or 20 and so is still raw, but also has scored 5 league goals.

I think you are correct in a lot of that. I dont think it was overestimating but perhaps the most effective way of keeping us out of administration.It was not RL as far as Im aware who put on a youngster instead of the experienced Wotton when we were trying to hold on for a victory.His mental strength woud have been benificial IMO. Jan has only just realised that Perry should play and so he should hurry up and come to terms that with 10 minutes to go and 1 up you shut up shop and not stay open to the sucker punch.
