Look at the assists compared to Stu Armstrong. It must be hard playing when you know that half the stadium is groaning when he has the ball. The morons who get on his back. Dont forget not only the assists he created for goals, the ones he created that our forwards and others failed to take. Taking him out of the side has taken much of our productivity away.

It seems we are an experiment, and if the mix is not to the correct amounts there could be a disaster in the laboratory!!

Perhaps the club could do a bit more on matchdays to have the fans 'on it' by perhaps having a quiet word stopping the stewards getting fans to sit down on the Northam. That cant helpwith the singing fans mood but also slows the momentum of the atmosphere. I know its 'fans safety' etc etc but to get the ground rocking you need the Northam on it. I dont go now due to work commitments (and apathy to a degree) but I always felt our stewards were more keen to suppress our fans than the away fans. We already giver them an advantage by giving them a part of the ground where they can really give their team a lift

over 55years supporting and seen them only in the lower divisions in the 70's for about 3 seasons and then the modern debacle. IMOHO I think the fans mindset has bee programmed to be also rans. I sometimes wonder whether the selfish Pompey way, where they had 5 memorable seasons and actually winning something may be a better thing than what we have had. Ok I saw us win the FA cup, but the generations since then have really not much to really enjoy. My daughter and grand daughter have what to look forward to? The gulf is getting wider and prospect of winning a cup is fading, and now part of a crazy experiment (it seems at this stage) of throwing the dice on young players, added to a poor squad. I have spoken to quite a few fans who have been regular season ticket holders and they not only haven't renewed they also are not going to go as they are disenchanted. Lets hope after Satuday things look up but I dont feel a good vibe

Whether e has an attitude problem, Im surprised he hasn't been snapped up already. He has something about him and would add pace to our attack

Football fans on a forum running down players, that must be a first

Perhaps fans at the game can tell me, did the new assistant go into the technical area or was he told to sit on the bench like people have in the past so that the dictator has full control talking to the players??
-
Redmond gets stick but he created a few goals. Let alone chances created that our forwards didnt put away. Surely we are not blessed with with so many creators we can leave on the bench.

Only thing you havent mentioned, the owner made his fortune on the back of much misery for others in online betting. To most it is a little fun but it has ruined thousands of lives

I thought Winks and Broja would and so had them in my draft team, cheap if they do get moves

Ok, my memory has gone!! I was sure it was that game but obviously not.

Yes, when we stayed up, that year anyway!!

Fair point about distance but I have never seen any indication of his wife not letting him. At that time I had a decent contact in the dressing room who knew KD very well and at no time was this stated.

Did we have a better option then?

The one I recall best was when we were playing Sheff Utd (?) in the Stern John game where he hade a fantastic fingertip save from I think it was Lee Hendry. Again I think we were 1 down at that stage

'He choose well paid first team football' at the cost of a massive pay rise. Not many of our heroes would do that, the argument on here is 'well you'd change jobs if you got a lot more.' As for the ridiculous comment his on another post that his wife didnt want to move, he wouldnt have to as it was only London and so could have driven easily enough

The Lionesses success - Five footballing lessons for us?
OldNick replied to eelpie's topic in The Saints
I always have thought that kids should not play competitive football untii they are 12 or older. They should just learn to control and pass the ball with one touch football. Alan Ball was very much of this mindset -
Perhaps the Russians money has been cut a bit

I wasnt meaning every team, I was talking about the England ladies. As for 'immense' in the mens' game! You do watch Saints lol I nearly have a seizure when it gets passed to our keeper and then to our defenders, by the time the midfield et it and have eventually controlled the ball it is then back to our defender who passes to the keeper and again the nerves are shredded agian, when it does ever get to a forward the ball is mis controlled so a defender can sweep it up -

For me I was impressed that every player was comfortable on the ball and controlled it instantly. Shame the men cant -
Are you a lady as well?

A split personality. I met him at an antique fair, he knew I was a Saints fan and had to get out 'I for one' in his conversation but took my banter well. Different character in his business, would have to be of course, as he is dealing with academics (that does not include me of course lol)

He doesn't appear there in his clown outfit and of course most of the tattoos wash off.

Yes in Petersfield.
