  1. Nathan interviewed after the game, thanked the fans and said next season we will do better. So I myself am very pleased he is staying, but like McCarthy it is always their fault we lose. I know its heresy to say but I wouldnt mind JWP leaving if we reinvested the funds well. He is fantastic at free kicks and gives his all, but IMO his lack of forward passes, and slow build up play stops our counter attacks. When did he last slot a ball through for one of our forwards to run onto? He is a fantastic player, and probably deserves to go to a side that his skill set fits in with. This is not an attack on him but just a personal opinion.
  2. I think Kitchbicher is a video man apparently
  3. Dont know, perhaps who leaked it or allowed it to be leaked. I think it was a member of the club who bragged to the Athletic what was happening
  4. Ralph needs a right hand man to bounce ideas off, but unfortunately it seems to me he likes to dictate, I think there was another Austrian who liked total rule. Was Ralphs success in Germany down to his help with Rohl (?) I think who has gone onto bigger and better things. When the Athletic broadcast to the world that we had the 60min energy break I believe we were playing good and successful football. Then that was stopped and we fell away. I may be wrong and hopefully someone will know the timeline (MLG) to either confirm or deny. The same publication also announced the exclusive of FF leaving, why just before the Liverpool game, why not as the season finished?
  5. SFC is not fit for purpose. No entertainment value and just cannon fodder for teams to come and destroy us for the cameras. IMO the new owners are as ambitious as the Katrina and Gao, 'sustainability' = Milk the club and us the mug fans who buy into it swallow the bile served up time and again. Watching that shell of a team was so depressing. I couldn't bear to watch a lot of it as it was obvious even a goal up we had no belief that we could win. It was a big chance to make us the headlines and for Sky to have to analysis us instead of 20 minutes after the game talk up their agenda to pressure Man City. Carragher Redknapp and kelly Cates all Liverpool, then BBC sport had the rat Lallana drooling over Klopp then a ten minute interview with the piano key toothed twat. This was a re run of the Cup semi final against Leicester where Ralph was more concerned in losing to a low score. I cant change the club I love, I just wish I hadn't been indoctrinated since i was 7 or 8 into it being the club of my dreams ( a long 55 years later). and will again have to put up with the patronising and smug Liverpool fans who are from around here.
  6. Personally, we are more stable than many other countries due us having a Monarchy. Something to rally behind during times of crisis.
  7. Are these lines from Monty Pythons Holy Grail
  8. In my opinion when the nation has had troubles, the King or Queen has been inspiration and succour. As for the French palaces there are more I suspect in France. Anyway it is not worth discussing it as you are the most set in the way/mind person there is and so the circles will be keep going around. I respect your position, but to me the Queen has been a fantastic figurehead for the UK. A person who has massive respect around the world. A lot of time it is envious people who dislike her.
  9. It seems to me that the Queen is more respected in the world than she is with some here. The most powerful people in the world want to sit and have tea, be seen with the Queen. They wouldn't with Corbyn or Boris etc etc.
  10. The one year return looks good as well -99.94%. In the last year lots of institutions have put money into crypto and so they cant afford for it to die. I read that the amount of whales ( myunderstanding is that these are people who hold massive amount of coins) has dropped dramatically, I can only assume they have carefully left the game for the poor sould to hold the baby

    Russia

Without a doubt it will be a total disaster if Russia take Odessa, then they will join the border with Moldova, where there are a separatist group there. Im sure that it will not be long before NATO will act. Not good news. The respect I had of the power of the Russian army has evaporated. Just hope that there can be some way of Putin to be stopped.
  12. The Queen has been a very good influence and always been there all my life. Sadly her grandchildren are not that smart. Id prefer as our head of state instead of what we might get with a republic, imagine characters like Boris, Corbyn, Rees Mogg or politicians like that being the position !!!
  13. Like with all the long term contracts we have dished out,the costs of ending them are punitive. So as you want him sacked, every penny is likely to be taken from our purchase budget. I suggest 15m would be needed to sack him. So that adds to the dilemma. Therefore I am just about in the keep him, but if the team shows no desire in the next 2 games my thoughts will shift no doubt
  14. So by my calculations, since I have been bornin 1959 (Pompeys relegation year, finished 22nd) they have been in the top flight for 8 seasons. As I have said elsewhere on the Pompey thread, they have always been in the lower divisions and so never understood how they feel they are a big club. Only time in recent memory that they did well was when we the nation paid for their success.
  15. is it 6 seasons in League 1 now? To be fair most of my life Pompey have been in Division 3 and so its no surprise. As for Saints we will be in the Championship soon as we have not been lucky with new owners, (when we were he sadly passed. Just Our luck
  16. well I suppose how you look at it. To me were lucky to win that one and Chelsea were unlucky to lose the Everton game. So I assume you feel we were deserving of the win
  17. Can we afford to pay him off. Must cost us around £15 m to do so
  18. just imagine had we not luckily won that one!!!!!
  19. Well he have a nice 7m a year wage to make him happy
  20. I doubt Ings is regretting his move at present
  21. It also doesnt help that the ball comes in such a pace to actually time to get to get a head on it is nearly impossible. When Redmond took some at a slower pace we did score from it/them
  22. I think only 10pints are likely to have you getting a dream like that
  23. Not that its important in the grand scheme but I truly went off Ralph last night when my grand-daughter (11 years old)waited to see the players after the Palace game. It was an hour after the game and eventually Ralph came out and she asked him for a picture with her, he just looked at her and walked on. Moi and Broja were brilliant with the fans but most of the players rushed past, jumped in their cars and buggered off. Very sad by the players but the manager who is paid £7m a year cant do the decent thing and be good with these dedicated fans is plain wrong
  24. He also has told the club he's retiring. No doubt the players are affected by this. When Strachan said he was leaving they downed tools. I know its not for a year but
  25. Oh god, if Liverpool need to make their goal difference up!!!!
