Robbie I dont think we need a poll i doubt that there is 5% whop want him to be given more time.

Stanley, we are not down we have loads of games left and we are still withing touching distance. I understand your disallusionment but a change of manager who understands this league could put us on a run.The team we put out yesterday are good enough to win 2-3 games on the trot if directed by the right man.As a fan i dont get what jan is trrying to get across at times,so those youngsters must get confused and he doesnt inspire. Now i have wished for stability in the past with managers but RL has made a terrrible choice and he must act and get Boothroyd in TODAY
-
RL was rid of before and things didnt improve much, where is Fulthorpe and LC LM ,? they could get enough money to get rid of RL. i dont understand why they dont strike, Wilde does not have a stomach for a fight and i suggest he'd sell up at a good price(the shares at present are low)
-
Lordswood a great post IMO, and Ump you are right we have to be butal and get rid of Jan.At this moment in time we are still within distance of safety, if RL lets it drift anoither week or so the gap could be too much. After yesterday we will get nothing at Norwich, a change may make a difference and I think we have 9 days before the next game, time for a new man to change things slightly.

To be fair AP I have a bitter dislike of Askham for he has always been at the back in the shadows but drawing a lot from us.He was there bringing RL to the club, he sh## on us during Branfoots days and him and the rest of the crew can go and rot as far as Im concerned.
-
it was totally wrong. The steward near us (Mark) is superb, although he keeps getting us to sit down he does it in a diplomatic way.I hope he didnt have any aggro, i did see a steward fall down the aisle trying to stop the fight, I think it was the steward in charge of the Northam?
-
If the trouble in the Northam gets too bad I wouldnt put it past the club to shut the Northam down and the s/t holders will then be told to move to other parts of the ground.I'm sure legally they could do so under health and safety. RL doesnt have much respect for the Northam at the best of times and so if he upset them more he wouldn't worry. To me Im in a catch 22 situation, I dearly want the fans to be united and the only realistic way for that is RL to go. On the other hand I dont like the mob rule winning. I have said I will not support RL if he kept Jan, at this time Jan is still here and so for that reason i want him gone.If he changes manager immediately/this week i will give him longer for financial reasons only.

If it was the lad who punched the steward in the face for no apparent reason he deserved it
-
Perhaps I should run off to the mods as you are so hurtful....

Sorry Miserable I went out and so didnt see this post. It is my opinion is does not help and the players do feel the pressure and change in atmosphere. If it wasnt the case why do clubs like playing at home where their fans make a difference? If it doesnt help the players why the hell do we spent time singing and cheering the team on, we may as well be quiet like a snooker match. There were many fans who disagreed with the singing of those songs, hence fighting amongst ourselves. I dont care if fans chant about RL or whoever but I myself would like the fans to stay behind the team during the game.It seems commoin sense to me
-
You made a point that we were better when the fans were singing anti Lowe, that was not the case. Why are you saying im blaming the fans? I am saying there is a time and place and IMO we are shooting ourselves in the foot by turning the mood of the crowd ugly. i may not put it well but the fans who start the anti lowe songs were not doing our club much good on the day.Why is that so hard to understand, do it in the carpark or where the directors leave the ground, not during a relegation 6 pointer. All IMHO of course
-
I was saying to a fan the squad has enough to get us out of this mess, but we need a manager who knows how to gel what we have.Boothroyd for me knows this league he has worked under financial restraints and also brrought youmg players through. He is my present number 1 choice of managers realistically available to us.
-
Do you really think we performed worse in the first half than the 2nd?????
-
Well I was on the Northam and looked up and could see he wasnt there but Wilde was, could you not see from where you were sat?
-
Ump while emotions are high im not going to bite at your post. The fans were brilliant and behind the team, we went 1 down and there were a portion of fans who want Lowe out and started their songs, it went from bad to worse. i was on the northam and there were many who were as saddened, and it was the worst feeling i can recall myself.Fan fighting fan all over a bloody chairman who wasnt even there!!! He is only a figurehead in front of people who are too cowardly to show their faces but want the perks. Asd for the manager i have never backed him and have always said Id give him a chance to prove my doubts wrong but he is poor and should go. For the health of the club I would like RL gone (not for his cost cutting or trying to avert adminsitration), as the division is so bad. i still am bemused why none of the Knights in shining armour do not appear.
-
Well you dont have a clue, RL wasnt even there, you may as well go outside and shout a the wind. You play sport, if you feel support around youy it gives you confidence. If you feel your own turn against you (whether you or your teammates) it understanderbly effects you. That is the way I see it.And dont give me the 'they are professionals'. they are human and with all the frailities of being so. Sing your heart outside the ground or after teh game, but i believe we hurt ourselves by dividing the fanbase. If RL does not change the manager I will be there as well.
-
Thats fine, there were enough of you Im told, so do it outside the ground after the game,. I understand the frustrations and I would love to thrash out at something but it is futile unless you have a saviour lined up. RL apparently wasnt there today, he no doubt realised his presence if things went bad was not good.i think Wilde scarpered fairly quickly.
-
Are you stupid or just impersonating ? Iam saying protest and sing the RL songs to your hearts contnet after the game.We were only 1 down when the atmosphere turned and the anti Lowe songs started.Do you really think that helps? I know we were not likely to do well with the fans singing as they had all game up to then, but when you start singing songs that divides the fanbase and also distracts the minds of the players on the pitch. By the way who is the saviour to take us over????? they all seem to be talking big and doing SFA. If mist of us had massive wealth we would have bought the club by now and sorted things, but we have lots of people on the sidelines saying they will do it and then disappear.
-
That as well.why do you think I blame the fans, I believe the fans singing anti Lowe songs is detrimental to the performance. That is my opinion, and it divided the fans instead of focussing on the team.
-
I have called for stabilty regasrding managers in the past but on this occasion Jan must go and RL if you have anything about you you will do your job and move him aside and appoint Boothroyd. I understand the cost cutting but will not accept abject stupity by keeping a manger who is totally tactically naive
-
What a sad day. There werer fans waiting for the opportunity to start the anti Lowe songs and were at it when we were a goal down. Im not against the protests outside the ground after teh game, but during the game in a 6 pointer is suicide. As for punching stewards and your own fans its so depressing. I saw some longstanding fans loooking stunned and ! with tears running down her face, and then a young lad with his dad looking fearful. What a sad state our club and fans have got to.

Please no, Bournemouth Saints choice would be good for me
-
Wes the first line I have kept reminds me of when I and a few others warned about the Wilde bunch, there again was no doubt an 80% vote in favour of them. That quote was used time and again but what did it achieve?? LC has the opportunity to step into the breach, our share price has fallen and so he could mop up and then take us to the promised land, he could join with LM who could plough back in some of the fruits of his connection with the club, but no they sit back snipe and watch OUR club walk the tightrope. I want the whole lot gone as i dont see much use in any of them (the whole board of directors and hangers on) I can see the sense in the way RL is going to try and reduce costs and in this time in the history of the world it is bl###y correct to cut your cloth accordingly not spend spend spend your way out of the problem. IF we stay up I believe the worst of the medicine would have been administered and we may then move on up. if we go down administration is the only way this club will go. Bournemouth went down that route and being told what the administrators charged I cannot see why anyone in their right mind would wish for administration, and RL way of avoiding it seems common sense.I also know a furniture company who are under administration and from a company that could have survived if the debts had been dealt with quickly and prudently to what has happened when the administrators levied their charges has now meant a business that was est100 years ago has now effectivily been put down. We may still go into administration this way but I believe the banks will see what we are doing and may be more prone to support that than if we only did cosmetic cuts. I dont have faith in Jan an call on RL to move him on, that at present is my major beef with him.Tonight I may be very down if we dont win and will be more likley to question RL if he keeps Jan, but if jans signings show us an improvement i may eat my words

It's all too high brow for me.I myself agree with 90%+ with what Nick G writes.
