I find it amusing because I can see the posters who take umbrage getting into a lather, not so much his words. He has found a tool that gets to them each and everytime and their chips on their shoulders cant stop them from reacting in rage.

forget not QPR are going to be a factor as they become more powerful. Our relegation was a windfall that Pompewy need to take of advantage during the window of our scraping around the CCC, if they miss it and we go back up they will again be vying for the same customer base and will not be so attractive.

Some of this is correct. I have been told their are a German consortium coming to buy you. The fact is regarding your position right now is that the reports say that you are for sale for 40m. 20m upfront the rest in a year, that should be seen as a good thing for you not a bad one.A cheaper price is more attractive to the buyer. You mustnt get confused that there are loads of people who want to lose money in football it isnt the case.Yes there are sokme exceptions but people who have built up fortunes dont like to lose. Im not sure how much the Fratton site is worth, theDell didnt generate fortunes and even if FP is twice the size it is not on prime land but probably only cheaper housing.I saw reports of the new stadium being 130m that surely must include other development or is it an expensive project due to its position and geology in the area? If you stay successful and still are when the stadia is built you will get an uplift in attendances but it is catch 22, to finance the debt you may have pot have a firesale if a buyer is not found quickly and so you may not then have the success and so the crowds may not appear. The time between building the stadium and moving in will be probably the most crucial time in your clubs hiostory since ripping off your suppliers and going into administration 10 or so years ago.

not everyone has a sense of humour. Many take it all so seriously when Scooby dares to say good things about RL. He is amusing by the way.

Personally I beleive 14-15k is the hardcore level of Saints support and perhaps even slightly lower. The softcore support is another 10k and the ones who go to see PL and train crashes another potential 10k. There are quite a few who are floating between hardcore and sofcore who have been going for sometime and just had enough of the disappointment. They will be brought back with a little uplift in our prospects, its the 10k plastics who will be harder to attract back. Im amazed how good our away support was at Donny 958 ffs that is fantastic considering what we have had to put up with recently.

Ump saturday evening after the game I was on the site expecting to have many others on talking about a good result. There was a really slow board and it was evident that there was hardly a soul wanting to talk about the positives.i made a thread that was pertinent and obviously hit home being close to the truth as so many have come on and tried their pathetic abuse.Im cited as a Lowe luvvie because I point out that the usual negative posters were not there and the site was quiet. I wasnt on saying how well the board had done by selecting Jan and co, but expecting fans to be a little upbeat because we had won a game away.Something that is qulte rare the last decade.Compare that activity to the threads after Barnsley/Ipswich/Rotherham where the really anti club bashers could have a go and would you rather be Leicester than Saints etc etc

thanks for pointing out how dim you are to make a statement like that.

If Lancashire can fill one c/h spot then Cork can be used as a full back

So Donny who have with endeavour got to where they are now to be disrespected because a few years ago we were PL. They are at our level and compete with us and we had to beat clubs like that.Id prefer it was Brum but Ill accpet we poiunts and a better sunday because of it.

I didnt take that on board and so am sorry if you think im being inconsistant. I was happy to try NP but again it is yet another devisive thing between us fans.I would like that we could move forward together. The team have won 1 game but sooner or later these games have to be turned into winning runs and perhaps put smiles back on our faces. Why an away victory is always called 'it was only against.....' Doncaster whilst not worldbeaters have started ok and many times we have tripped up against teams like them.So it should be seen as a positive. I think we need to get some faith back by a good performance tuesday against Norwich, even if we happen to win that we cant get carried away but at least it would give us something to build on.With a young side you are always going to get inconsistancy and so we have to get used to it.

thanks for that WS

No I dont think the NOTW is word perfect but it is patently obvious for ages that Pompey have been spending more than they earn.We dont need the reporters telling us that.On the other hand do you not also see it as a free advert by the powers to be to say come and get us we are for sale.HR comes out of it with the 'canny managers clever buying' so I suspect he's the source of the story. Pompey has always been an odd investment for me(not because its Pompey) say for example a buyer camew in and bought Blackpool when he could have bought an established team like Villa or Newcastle you may understand that it was a strange decision. The article mentions 160m for a stadium etc why want to buy into that when the fanbasee income etc doesnt add up.I would nt expect someone to spend that on us with our infrastructure already there, 50m would be a risk. PFC's story does not add up in the financial sense.Enjoy your moment as you may go back a full circle if you are not careful

Wes forget about NP he's history and far from proving himself when he was with us.It is pointless going through all the old arguements about his tenure.I will if you wish though. The club is in the position of taking its medicine to get over the hangover of overpartying. We have to get finances in order first, and hopefully good health will follow. The excesses will not be cured in a short period and so e have to be patient. This season is all about being safe from relegation. We will win a few draw a few lose a few more but next season we may be a better unit and ready to strengthen a little more.
-
You surely dont believe he's upper class!!! He will be just a normal bloke off the street.
-
Well that is a pathetic view then as it is now. Although now it is more critical to the clubs finances.

As I said any fan who wants us to lose is a p#### in my opinion. I cant see why he would have or some who when we we losing wishing it to be even more so that the manager was sacked or a player dropped.I dont take anything Scooby says at face value because he is not on here as a serious poster.People who take him seriously are far too up themselves to see where he is at.The really anti Lowes deserve him because only in extremes do people like him get under their skin. Many fans on here I have had differing opinions and however they act I take it as a passion as I have about my views and dont take it to heart as they are Saints fans. I think the only thing I have felt totally out of order was wishing a player to get a career threatening injury by a poster and that is unforgiveable.

Alps whatr are the crowds levels even though the cost is low?

now now Topgun....but

i will believe the 30m when WHU shell out.WHU will play the waiting game and the costs and appeals will wear SheffU down.

FtF 60 posts in how long? As for fans wishing for us to lose, I dont believe many would want us to.There were occasions when there were a few fans wishing for a defeat so they could have a player dropped or manager sacked.I dont know when Scooby wanted us to lose , if he did say so he's a p###k but i doubt it.I like scoobys posts because they are such an obvious wind up and he knows exactly how to hit the point and I see the same rabid anti Lowes falling for it time and again. Its a game to him, and seeing all the abusive replies he gets I m sure he gets amusement from that as he knows he's hit the mark.

Who's coming on Tuesday to watch Saints trounce Norwich?
OldNick replied to eelpie's topic in The Saints
we are going -
It will now show who does own the club.If Gaydamek snr does then the debt is nothing if jnr does he is not going to be able to afford to keep it going.Knowing their luck snr will pop his clogs and so jnr will payroll the club more. Pes is not one of the Skates who is full of it and should not be the one who gets the stick.
