we can pray but I dont think so.MC seemed to have someone who knew that set up, the club should buy her a ticket and get on a plane and get the deal sorted and tell them there is no problem they all want to go ahead.
-
I did think that they wouldnt resort to letting your type into the hotel and a quick call confirmed that to be the case.In fact they said they moved you on as the Keep Britain Tidy campaign was coming to town. Halmosi is a good player but he plays in the PL and Norris now at Ipswich was indeed a target one time. Now Teale I thought was good and it surprises me he has gone to Brighton, I would have been very happy had we got him.

Like myself you seem a passionate fan. We both see the raids differently but do want the same thing. If old pro footballers were cheap we would have been able to get rid of ours. Some of no quality or on Bosmans would be reasonable to a degree. What I think you will find is even if they are Bosman frees the money instead of transfer fee is now a signing on fee, or larger wages. The kids in the main will be on 50k a year and some on more (guess) wheras an older player would have moved up the wage structure the last few years and be commanding a few k a week. Now he may take a cut in wages to get to play but not down to the kids level. Therefore you get a lot more young players for your money. Now whether that is a good footballing decision that is another thing but if you are trying to convince the bank you are trying to cut costs to stay solvent it is a better arguement. I still think we need to hold back and give them time, as there is no other route until january at the earliest.

good man , I knew you were someone of good character. we need fans like you and 1976

well I hope it is not from the Victoria Hotel in Sidmouth as we like to go there to get away from ther rabble.
-
I dont see the problem with that if you dont point the same finger at LM Wiseman Askham and the rest of the crew.
-
Im passionate about Saints and so say things in their defence. Most I say I believe in and so will be cutting
-
yes you do but it nearly was not coated that time.Your guard had slipped PES

Why would a shareholder dip in their personal wealth? If RL was the outrigt owner I d expect that but a shareholder no.
-
OSM I dont think those comments were aimed at any one person/poster but a general statement. In fact i dont recall you ever having a hissy fit on here in fact this post is the closest to one by you. Bigoted views maybe would be fair, but that is my opinion only. I have never said he is not the person I would wish to run the club, there are many better but he is not the worst choice of what went before, again IMO.
-
Again Im on your side, I dont want anyone but RL etc but if we are to get rid of him I would require the lot to be rid of. Askham ,Coroner the lot.Let the club find a complete new identity under completely new faces so nobody has an axe to grind.

Signing Forecast, a third choice goalie. Signing Pulis, a player in his mid twenties who has yet to make the grade anywhere, and who was injured when we bought him. Signing Gasmi, who was injured when we bought him. Employing Wotte, who doesn't appear to be doing much of anything. Giving Dyer a new contract. Giving McGoldrick a new contract. Sidelining several players who we are paying plenty of wages to (Skacel, Euell, Thomas etc - I know injuries come into play here but does anyone think we'd be playing them if they were all fit?). ] end quote. well we needed a third keeper. Pulis is anodd one but I feel he may have been used as a way to reduce the payout to Boro for sell on. Gasmi will not be paid for until he has passed a medical and I dont know if a fee is on the cards. Wotte , well he is a mystery. Dyer and DMG is sound business. Why not have them under contract as there are plenty of clubs who would take them for nothing if they were out of contract. It is planning ahead and DMG will mature into a decent player.
-
I dont know who does the contracts, but my point was that RL is not necessarily seen as an ogre by players who have had contact with him when joining the club. You just wish to see any involvement by him as a negative. The players dont blame him for our demise or relegation as they werent here and so they see him through different eyes than your bigoted ones. They also wouldnt expect him to give team talks but no doubt apreciate that he takes time from a cosy boardroom to come and wish them luck.I suspect he's more normal than some of them ore moronic fans they have ot put up with.
-
The early settlement was not something the club would have iwshed to do but to stem the tide.Do you really beleive we paid for Forecast? and then not to even play him. He was signed in case KD went and had no real bearing on the money for the early payment. as for the E750k for morgan, where would that go in signing on fees, loyalty payments, resettlement fees, hotel bills, wages for a few old players? A free is not a free and until fans see that we will have this going on forever.
-
Yeah yeah, they get paid well so they can be slagged off.Ive heard it all before. You only have to read this site and the ones who give out all the sh## as soon as someone gives them some they are off in a hissy fit. They may be paid but they are youngsters who have allied themselves to the club because they want ot be pro footballers.Ok some might become big time charlies but i believe these lads/youg men for the first time in years want to pull on our shirt. They want to go out and play good entertaining football but have come up short at present. To have the people they wish to please to turn on them after a few games is IMO out of order.I understand the younger fans on here doing so but when I read the fans going for a long time rubbishing these players it is upsetting as they should know better.

Blackpool never tried the gamble like the Wilde bunch did and it was pointed out at the time it was a roll of the dice. I would love that someone could spell oout how we could do this a different way.UMp has stated that he thought we could have done it differently and came up with his ideas. All were very credible but I still couldnt see they would be in the price structure we are at. Bringing the experienced pros is great but at what cost, where does this money magic from? If the club could have rid itself of the so called stars we would be able to get a few replacements in but they wouldnt take a wage cut to go elsewhere or were not good enough to be wanted that is the sad fact.

I dont know if in sport you have ever had to bring on kids but I do know from experience (limited to local sport) that kids confiodence is brittle. They so want to please their teammates and friends etc that they try too hard sometimes and also have higher expectations of their own standards than should be expected. To keep their confidence up they need support from their older players and friends/supporters and so that is why I advocate a bit of patience. I also understand your 'they are in a big bad world' but why throw them to the wolves if you can cossett them to a degree.IMO I want them to suceed and so if I can help in a little way by giving them a little help by holding back my criticism I'll happily do that.

Its OK your hoofball is easy to impliment.

Seriuos shoul.der injury I think. Thomas has a long term knee injury I think you will find

I havent read the article but I suspect5 the lad hurts not only from a going over by the manager but to have to face the press. We should give the lads who are only trying to do their best and are pleased to pull on our shirt a bit of slack. Being youngsters I expect they come on here and it no doubt effects their confidence when they see themselves being rubbished.

SCud, the thing that made me want the club to appoint NP had nothing to do with his managing prowess as i was not too carried away by that but by the way the fans were united brehind him.Now I know he'd be having a crusade start to mount againsyt him if the results were poor but it would mean we as a club could unite and then move on. I dont take a large slice of this board as an example of the fan base but if we could get over the constant negatives the re would at least be some pece for the club to move on. Too many people are waiting in the sidelines to prove a point if things go wrong. They in turn pick away at the moral of the regular fans and it is a drip drip effect. Clean the whole lot out and then there are no axes to grind and so the club can hopefully move forward.
-
well perhaps not everybody thinks he's no good. He knows all the players and must speak to them when he talks about contracts and the club signs them. I recall seeing him taking Morgan around the facilities so he could introduce him to the squad. They see him from a different angle I suspect and are not so bound up with predudices.
