  1. no we would never lose a game 5-0 or worse under them would we?
  2. Tamesaint, you may have the answer that the others cant put forward, tell us how you cut us losing £100'sk a week, keep the high earners, get in better players, and stop us going into admin anyother way.Im keen to know how it could be done.
  3. your disrespect is not becoming. For someone who must have been going for a long time I would expect to understand a bit more especially after some of the dross served up to us over the years.
  4. Style and Panache!! is not what I associate you with Pes. After all you got excited driving a Volvo.that Fiat Punto ( was it?)must seem lumpy now you are home. I do hope you enjoy your game tonight, i msure it will be full of joy for you.......ohhhhhh. Were you singing Harrys name tonight and asking him to give you all a wave?
  5. What you have to remember with the upper classes is that bug#### is part of character building. It will be water off Scoobys back.Anyway I find him amusing and hope he carries on posting.
  6. seems as it might have been the case. TR

WELL corp will love you, like a divorce you can keep the kid.I hope you will be happy together.
  8. Look UMP I dont feel like getting into a long arguement again , but surely you have to react to the situation as it is, not as it might have been.Forget the relegation as that was an event that has indeed cost us but also you have to take into account all the extra money by us staying up and the extra attendances at the new stadia. The boards responsibility is to react to the time and to the future, we cannot keep harping back to what may have been if we were in the PL , many clubs go down but then they act responsibly to the new factors. The figures you give (thanks for that ) really do show how irresponsible the people running the club have been. Personally i dont care who they are. We as a club knew our budget and so should have cut the cloth accordingly and patently it wasnt done. It is not your fault and not mine but the custodians of our club that were reckless and we are now paying for it emotionally. The wage bill should have been cut drastically, period. Interestingly, and i dont wish to be partisan in this is that the 2nd season the wage bill had been trimmed 3m. Now I have always argued that GB remit was to sell off the players to reduce the wage bill, would it be fair to say after RL was deposed those constraints were lifted (for popularity) and that is why the wage bill went back up again?
  9. A good arguement Vectis. I understand your frustration that is held by both sides.Yes the powers that be are responsible for the teams put out and so that contributes to the fans slipping away. What must also be appreciated by us is that the powers that be have a responsibility to keep the club alive financially. If it wasnt RL and it was anyone else their first job is to keep the banks on board.Does anybody not agree with that? There may be many ways to skin a cat but our cat is very skinny with no meat. The club decided the best way shortterm to give us longterm health is to play a team of youngsters who would have a wage bill dramatically reduced that should be able to compete. It seems the fans have lost faith quicker than the players, but to be fair at SMS the fans have been briliant it appears the ones on here have lost their nerve quicker. If and its a big if, we can avoid administration that is like winning 10 -15 points. So we need to avoid relegation this season and then regroup. Then we may go on from there, you never know somebody may appear and buy us as they see the bottom line improving. RL is not popular but he may have been partly responsible for relegation but so much of our current debt is not down to him and he is trying to regain ground lost after he was deposed. I wish it was somebody else but none of the last lot because they didnt have a stomach IMO to do what was needed to get the club back on track. It is going to be a tough season there is no doubt about that, but stay up and that is a terrific result.
  10. In my opinion JP would have known of the interest and had assurances of his future.Perhaps he woulld be made in charge of the reserves or youth.
  11. but surely if the club have put a lot of highly paid plaayers on high contracts 3m is nothing. That is where the mistake was made and not acting sooner to cut those costs. It seems to me last season nothing was done to start the cutting and in fact it seems we took on more .
  12. That is fine it just seemed by your wording that you may be pointing the blame at RL. I find it interesting that the wage bill under Gb is asd high as it was under HR.That to me is scandalous, who ever oversaw that needs shooting.
  13. To be fair why not ask Corbett, Wiseman or Askham.Id love them all to do so but they have no obligation to do so.As I say get rid of the lot I dopubt there is any we'd miss, but stop just picking on 1 of them as they are all culpable.

It depends when he read your post. It had to be over two seasons ago to have any weight.Typical of you Johnny come latelys you spout all your love and sing his name when he was Judas a few weeks before. You can carry proclaiming your undying love for him, but Im sceptical.Show us the posts
  15. I can only accept things as I see it. If I told you the same you would think that is arrogant an no doubt find it an affront for me to dare suggest it.
  16. are you really saying that RL is responsible for the next 2 seasons? Forget about the relegation because that happened and you have to react to the new circumstances of our position. the first year was always going ot show buig losses as the club had to try and dismantle a club that was pL in all except its league status. It had built a PL cost base you dont shed that overnight.
  17. Ok thats fine but I will if you and the others will or is that not the way?
  18. This is something that I cant get around my head. There was much talk of Gavyn Davies and Frost etc, but where are they now when they could buy the club very reasonably. They may not have been therre in the first place but RL was able to proceed. Business can be a dirty game and Askham saw the best deal for himself and his other cohorts.I had waited from a kid for the new ground and it was in his initial tenure that it was provided. There is much discussion how and who was responsible but he was the man in charge at the time and like Brown who got the credit for the boom Lowe must get some for the stadium.I also recall him playing in a Testimonial and the fans singing his namer and willing for him to score.None of the abuse then, this of course carried on with us moving to the new stadium and then with WGS and the cup final. No boycotts then, no I wont be putting money in his pocket etc etc.Can you see why I get dismayed? Yes mistakes were made, but not by only him. He was chairman when we went down and so he must take a large proportion of the blame but at the same time he did change the personel and we did have a squad that should have stayed up.He didnt give away the leads or miss open golas, he gave the managers enough tools to do the job but they and the players failed us all. They have swanned off and taken thier big bucks (far more than any of the chairman) and left us in the mire. As i say find us a decent alternative and I will happily follow.
  19. How many pages will it take for some to understand that the fans also have had a part to play in our downfall?
  20. I dont think many are on 100k a year yet, that is why we are playing them.
  21. Trousers the problem must be that the OS must ghost write some of the stuff and they will tow the club line. I believe the players are behind what we are doing (especially the younger ones) and so try to rally us.Footballers in the main are just normal people and are not politicians and so give out the same old stuff.
  22. I stick up for Lowe, the players and some of the managers if I feel they are not getting a fair deal from the criticism. Wanton criticism that is not valid I will defend. Sadly a lot of the abuse is not thought out but just because its Lowe. I have said on many occasions get a proper alternative and that is fine but something better than the last lot who did not ready us for the parachute payment coming to an end.To me that is fair.
  23. my wife my daughter my daughter, every so###ng week
  24. not there Im not Hillhead. Perhaps if you get a quote where I am I might be able to confirm it.And do not confuse me understanding the constraints the club is under with Lowe being my beloved, I would take another person to run the club at a drop of a hat if they were better. We tried it before and they were worse, so find us a good un and I will follow place some more jokers up like last tiem and I wont.
  25. I think it was pointed out this morning that the administrator has no responsibility to leave the club in any state for future but only to get in as much as he can to pay the creditors.
