If he isn’t sacked by the time I finish work tomorrow then I’ll be ****ed off. Get a new manager in and ****ing back him in the window.
-
Should be 1-3. We’ve been ****ing terrible.
-
Get him sacked. Awful yet again.

Serious available candidates for the impending managerial vacancy!

Naaa. They scored less goals than us that season. The only reason they finished one place above us was because their defence was brilliant. He's a very defensive manager. -
The thing that goes in our favor with Walcott and Sturridge is that it's a world cup year next year and they are not getting games whilst being on the periphery of the England squad. They need games for a club and they need them quickly. There'll both drop down to us imo.
-
Now VVD has (almost) gone what's your honest opinion of him as a player?
Shance replied to Bad Wolf's topic in The Saints
He'll end up becoming one of the best CB's in the world at Liverpool. He was on his way there for us but his head was turned and he became disinterested. He's got the move he wanted now and will assert himself and when he does that, there are few CB's better than him. -
Dembele, Walcott and Mawson would be a brilliant window.
-
Get Walcott in!!! Then get another CB please. Then a GK. Any ****ing goal keeper will do!

Fantastic news. Can’t wait for him to be gone. -
Why do we have such a large collection of spastics supporting us? Stop with all thes embarrassing open letters ffs.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/football/42471129 Charlie Austin has been charged with violent conduct following his collision with the Huddersfield goalkeeper. Personally thought it was disgraceful. Can’t see anything other than a ban. Good job he’s injured anyway as it would be annoying had his kick out cost us.
-
Wish people would lay off Redmond when he’s shunted out on the left as well. It’s not where he plays and he clearly finds it uncomfortable.
-
Redmond on the left, Boufal on the bench, in form players dropped. The manager needs to go. He’s out of his depth.
-
Good, glad he's gone.
-
Surely the manager gets the boot now? This is absolutely embarrassing

I'm 33, so I got to see some of the lovely stuff we played in the 90's before it all went to ****. Pochettino did have some good games but Puel really did get us playing some nice stuff but like I said, he liked his default defensive set up too much. As for the 8-0. I was there. It was as much a capitulation by Sunderland as it was us playing well. I've seen us play better and concede 2 goals. Was a great day though and one i'll always remember.
-
I'd rather we signed Walcott tbh.
-
Agreed. He had a decent game today.
-
What's funny? He's right. When Puel set us up to attack we played some of the best football I've sen from Saints. Problem was, he only did that for like two games. The rest was ****e.
-
I've no idea why Lemina didn't get a run out towards the end to stretch the ponderous Arsenal defence. Hojbjerg had a great game again. He's really starting to play well now. Bertrand, Forster and Austin all had good games too. Fraser is starting to build some confidence now. Hopefully he kicks on. Definitely 2 points dropped there. Two games in a row now and it's cost us 3 points. Gutted.
-
Hojbjerg has been brilliant.
-
I'm not surprised he's doing well with Leicester. People tend to look at the results and just assume we were wrong for sacking him but there's more to it than that. Puel likes to play a style where you sit and defend deep then break on the counter with pace. Unfortunately he didn't have the players to do so at Southampton and it was a style the players didn't like or adapt well to. Leicester won a title under Ranieri playing that exact style and they even did it playing largely with a 442 diamond formation. Like it or not, up top they simply have better players than us that can score and are very much used to playing his way already. They are a good fit, he wasn't with us. Build a bridge.
