  1. Skates 1-0 down at Swansea
  2. Apparently Newcastle are interested in James Trafford in January. Would that mean a timely return for Ramsdale?
  3. Peter Osgood went there as player/coach.

    Will Still

What, pat him off and then reemploy him? What sort of idiots would do that? Oh, wait a minute. This is Sport Republic we're talking about.

    Sport Republic

Sport Republic, and plenty other club owners, seem incapable of recruiting for vital staff, players and coaches. The litany of poor and failed managers here and elsewhere is testimony to that. How to correct that before yet another nail in the coffin, I'm not sure.
  6. Oh well, at least Totton are 3-2 up at Macclesfield in the cup.
  7. Was just about to post the same. It also quoted Andrews saying that if things aren't working, they need changing. Not much sign of that from RM.
  8. Hit and hope passing, too slow and didn't seem interested. In the first half some looked as though football was new to them. I've seen some garbage from us over about 60 years but this was a new low.
  9. I forgot, MLT in the stands at Highfield Road, Coventry and in the pub opposite before the match where he autographed some bloke's shaven head. Crap game but a good day out.
  10. No particular order but, the likes of Paine, Chivers, etc Al after games in pubs around the Dell. Shilton in the Clump and some photo shoot in Watford. Peter Rodrigues in the King Rufus, Iain Turner with Keiron Baker, same place. David Peach at the Clock Filling Station. Channon and his missus in an Indian restaurant. Beattie in the concourse at St Mary's.
  11. Some years ago I was 6000 miles away in Macau for work. I went into a bar with one other customer who hearing me speak English, joined me. He turned out to be a Skate! The gods had it in for me.
  12. The day the season ended.

    Rupert Lowe

The MP, Rupert Lowe has had the parliamentary whip removed due to allegations of bullying. Of course, he denies them and is shouting the odds about his fellow party members. His display of arrogance is rather familiar.
  14. Our distribution was terrible while Boscombe were fast and accurate. Add in the apparent gulf in quality of the two sides players, it is surprising that it was only 1-3.
  15. F**k all that, we've got to get on with this. Can almost hear Juric in training.
