There's a lot on here about the severity of the club's punishment and comparisons with other club's misdemeanours. However, I've seen nothing about Saints breaking the 11th commandment; "thou shalt not get caught". I'm sure similar things happen across the football world; they just haven't been caught.

On the whole, it was a trouble free day. I met plenty of Mancs on the train and in the pub before the match. It was all very good natured tinged with a bit of natural rivalry. Yes, there were some idiots who'd had too much alcohol or marching powder or both, but both sets of supporters had a good day out.
