Fraser hasn’t really played any meaningful football for a while, can’t see him starting. It’s Man Utd at home, so we’ll probably play quite well, but absolutely won’t win. 12/13 - lost 3-2 in stoppage time, played well 13/14 - 1-1 end of season nothing game 14/15 - lost 2-1, seem to remember De Gea having a great game and us giving them a goal 15/16 - lost 3-2 and gave them an identical goal to the previous game 16/17 - 0-0 and Gabbiadini missed a pen 17/18 - lost 1-0, played ok 18/19 - drew 2-2 - went 2-0 and threw it away 19/20 - drew 1-1 played ok and Danso got sent off 20/21 - lost 3-2, 2-0 and threw it away in stoppage time 21/22 - drew 1-1 - don’t remember much of this tbh 22/23 - lost 1-0 - should have had about 47 penalties, Mctominay playing volleyball in the penalty area Also special mention to the 10/11 cup game, where we played really well and go our noses in front, but lost 2-1.

Not how I remember it TBH. We played it for a few games at the start of January after a poor run (Bertrand playing CB left of a three and Targett left back), then reverted back to normal by February.
-
Agreed, but not basing it on this game - think they’ll announce it quietly after next international break.

Carsley will get the job I reckon. Good job with the 21’s, will be tasked with bringing through the next batch, easy decision for the FA.
-
Yep that’s what I would do, except swap Fernandes and Dibling around.
-
They’ll turn us over, because no matter how well we’ve played against them we never win.
-
You probably missed it because they didn’t use the term ‘Wankersen’ or ‘Lego Head.’
-
You’re not allowed to use any positives from last season apparently, doesn’t count anymore.
-
Bit like you with Ralph?
-
Everyone can have their opinion, but people should see my opinion is right. Seems fair.

Sorry, you didn’t like Koeman because he should have finished higher than 6th? Or the guy that got us double promotions because he quoted the man in the mirror? This thread gets more mental by the day.

Does the same apply to the weekend then? B (conceding a goal) followed A (giving the ball away), then B must have been caused by A. Or are the rules different to suit your views?
-
Get a life you boring twat.

1. No he isn’t, they’re the same age 2. Do you know what Mané had done by Sulemana’s age? Scored 31 goals for Salzburg (plus numerous assists). What’s Sulemana done? Clocked as the fastest player at the World Cup in 2022 👏 3. A team like Ajax? You mean the team that finished 5th in a 3 horse race last season? 4. The stats that matter show he is nothing but a pace merchant with no final third ability.
-
The only raw material Kamaldeen has is pace. Not seen anything else yet to get excited about. Mane, whilst being raw, had speed, skill and could finish - had a couple of excellent seasons in a respectable league before joining. There are light years between the two at the beginning of their saints careers.
-
All three of Bournemouth goals came from crosses into the box as well.
-
Even Danny Fox scored.

He’s got a bit of grace until the signings bed in and he gets our best XI on the pitch. If after that it’s still going majorly tits up, he’ll be out. He may as well go for it and entertain, nothing to lose really as we’re going down anyway.

Armel Bella-Kotchap - Official: Loaned to Verona

He was fine until we signed him! -
In fairness, Nigel had City (champions) away, Arsenal away and Utd at home in his first 4. Unlucky to lose to both Manchester clubs as well.
-
It has to be Les, Flynn and Fernandes going forward. Anything else and he deserves to go. Could a diamond work maybe? Les Downes Fernandes Tyler / Lallana

Some good revisionism on here. He was given the opportunity to knuckle down and play last season, but he wanted nothing to do with it and got out at the first available chance. He’s not seen as someone who wants to get involved and be part of the team, which was also evident last time we were in the Prem. An inflated sense of his abilities and worth unfortunately, which wasn’t matched by the level of interest shown in him and essentially why he is still here (atm). -
Lallana will be in charge by Xmas.

This, got nothing to do with accommodating Stephens FFS.
