That result was so typical it’s almost laughable. Pointless blaming Bazunu for the third when their scorer literally had time to fall over and STILL get his shot away whilst our defence just watched. At the end of the day it’s not tonight that’s cost us automatic promotion, it’s the shit results against the Boro’s and Millwalls, as well as too many draws in our unbeaten run where we believed our hype far too much instead of trying to turn the draws into wins. To go that many games unbeaten and essentially be out of the automatic promotion race with 8 games to go is criminal, Russell Martin has failed with one of the best squads in the division.

His accent used to get on my tits, but in fairness he’s definitely grown on me, and I admire how critical he can be of us and our play as though he’s watching us as a fan. Counter that with say Dean Hammond, who for me has had the opposite effect, and I can’t stand his Uber positivity no matter how shit we’re playing.
