Can’t see us getting anything out of this to be honest, they seem to have found another gear this last month and are in the home stretch. Perform like we did last night and it’ll be a hammering, they don’t fuck about in front of goal.

Was going to say something similar before I read your post. There’s been a noticeable change in attitudes since the likes of ArmA and Fraser have left the building.

Made the mistake of going tonight. Christ that was a hard watch. The home fans were very subdued for the first 30 minutes, you could tell they were worried, and our fucking about at the back caused them to get a bit of belief and find their voices which spurred the team on. Thought we looked tired, a bit heavy legged after 90 minutes against a Prem side at the weekend. Didn’t help that the ref was a cunt and allowed West Brom to get away with the dark arts. Edozie needs to come in for Leo as cover for me, the only other players in the squad that wants to run at the opponent and cause a bit of excitement.

All the talk pre match apparently was about what a gamble it was bringing him in as he’d only featured in a league cup tie, poor fucker has had his Spurs career ruined in a quarter of an hour. Dunno why they found this Tudor guy they may as well have stuck with Thomas Frank.

Reckon they’ll move Leeds v Wham/Brentford to Monday night so they can televise the draw for the semis too, and as mentioned before 4 of the sides could well still be in the champions league. Wouldn’t be surprised if they wait till next Thursday to announce the fixture dates.
-
Indeed, Arsenal could have a massive Champions League match a few days after our cup match, whilst being balls deep in the hunt for the league title so if ever there’s a chance their minds are preoccupied it’s against us.

When did Joe Hart’s neck get so long

Giving them the whole of the chapel would probably be the easiest way to segregate them. I’d like Port Vale at home, the one side a lot of us would never have seen us play. Don't want something shite like City away. Probably get Leeds and it’ll be dressed up as revenge for the playoffs or some shite.

At the taxpayers expense of over £60k a year to house the cunt my only disappointment is that it didn’t happen sooner. Anyway, Rest In Piss Ian.
-
Why does it feel like that’s only the case when it’s Saints playing against 10 men.
-
Beattie? Sorry not having that, he was a massive player for us, particularly the great escape and cup final seasons.

I hope the metal pole is ok. That piece of shit has lived 20 years too long anyway.
-
Indeed, Captain Jack has looked solid alongside THB since we reverted to a back 4. Adding Bree to the back line has massively helped settle them down as well, having another experienced head back there can only be a positive.

I honestly thought it was.

We’re playing like the away side, so fucking infuriating

Don’t understand why we always seem to look lethargic after a break. Said in the match thread some of these guys have had 9 days off whilst Charlton got battered midweek. Did our players think all they had to do today was turn up to win? Definitely feels like 2 points dropped, midweek needs to be a win if we’re serious about contending for a playoff spot.
-
Don’t be a helmet, most of this team have had 9 days rest whilst they’ve had 3 we should be smashing them if we’ve got genuine play off aspirations.
-
Pompey beat these cunts away midweek and we’re struggling at home. Shambles.

If there’s any chance of him squealing on some pretty important people then I’m sure even Royal Randy Andy isn’t immune to a murder dressed as suicide like his pal Jeff.

Another vote for Budapest here. Fantastic place for a city break.

I’m not sure signing Ramirez 2 years after Antonio left us counts as Cortese preferring to sign Gaston tbf, likewise signing Osvaldo another year later.

There’s so many films that are of their time, that watching years after their release left me thinking meh, namely: One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest The Godfather Blade Runner. Don’t see all the fuss with Donnie Darko either.

Surprised by the audacity of Leicester, suppose they’ve not got nothing to lose though. They should have been happy with 6 points considering how high a deduction the Premier League were trying to get. Imagine they win the appeal but the Prem wins theirs too and they end up in a worse position.
