Cap’n Jack has been around long enough to make the squad aware how important this game is to everyone connected to the club. This is actually the one game I won’t mind seeing his name in the starting XI, he’ll play with his heart on his sleeve, and hopefully if he does get a red card for snapping one of them in half he does it in the 90th minute of a 4-0 home win.

Impossible to really give it more than 6/10 considering we’ve lost Ramsdale and Baz is back to being first choice GK, Quarshie has the ability to look decent and shite at the same time so JS is still playing every game, and we haven’t bought in a convincing striker, just a young lad that seems like the second coming of Sekou Mara.

Because unlike Baz, Ramsdale kept us either in games, or kept the score from being an embarrassment. With Baz there’s no credit in his favour to deflect from the questions about his ability.

I’ve said the same previously. The fact we have to have the debate every match just shows he’s not good enough. Somehow the powers that be can’t see what we all do though.

He hasn’t looked like the THB of 2023/24 at all, wonder if he was expecting another side to come in for him particularly after his England call up. That and a season of spankings has probably messed with his head. Reckon some of our squad could do with a sports psychologist to get some focus back.

Despite our activity yesterday the side is still lacking a really solid spine (GK, CB,CM, ST). I really hope there’s some surprises in store between now and Tuesday else it’s going to be a long season.

Not from our fanbase, they’ll politely applaud the team and manager off the pitch as per.

I mentioned this in the Baz thread. Once again we’re having a debate on whether or not Baz should have made a vital save that instead resulted in a goal. Instead of congratulating him on keeping us in the game or winning us the game it’s a case of should he have saved the free kick, did he invite the shot, should he have saved the first at a tight angle, should he have saved the second stoke goal at a tight angle, and it’s going to happen every bloody week because the FUCKING CLOWNS in charge can’t see what 95% of the fan base do in that we need an upgrade on Baz. Honestly sick of the same debate game after game.

Doubling down on my opinion a couple of pages ago. Can’t coach a defence, wasn’t reactive enough today, and apart from a decent result against a changed Norwich there’s not been one convincing performance. Hope everyone’s predictions about our post international break performances and line ups are correct, otherwise it’s going to be a disappointing season.

Watford had a 10 minute spell where you could see them building but Still did not react, and they’ve gone on to equalise as a result. Totally avoidable and normally WS is proactive rather than reactive.
