Boruc coming in that season was massive for us, Davis had been excellent in the EFL but it was clear he wasn’t at full time Prem keeper level. I remember the thread on here being much like the Peretz one with a few people saying he wasn’t good enough, and one poster in particular saying he’d cost us more points than he would save us. Even he had changed his mind by the end of the season.

Agree with most of these, seeing Osvaldo and Martina live were pretty special. Stuart Armstrong against Coventry though, being sat behind the shot and seeing the way that ball moved was pretty incredible.

His short managerial record was mediocre at best and I know we’re no longer in the age of the big name manager anymore but I’m astounded that Chelsea looked at him and thought he’s the man to guide them to a top 4 finish and success in the Champions league.

Last time we broke into the playoffs, albeit very briefly at 3-0 up against West Brom, the wheels well and truly fucking fell off. Let’s hope the team are in a decent place to handle the expectation ahead of tomorrow night. With a tough trip to Sheffield United at the weekend there’s every chance Wrexham are sat behind us and Derby come Saturday evening.

Can’t argue with this, actually thought Lampard came across quite well in the interview, had praise for us and the way we play. Also made the fair point that at least with no VAR you can actually celebrate a goal and enjoy it.
