Now the elation of last night has calmed down slightly I still think it’s a shame that with Wembley now paid off the semis haven’t returned to a neutral venue.
-
That was up there at portsMYTH levels of bollocks from their fans.
-
Made a blinder of a save a minute or two before the winner. He’s made an immeasurable difference to this team.

What a job he’s doing, the guy nobody wanted originally and I’m getting concerned he’s going to be poached now 😂 We’ll never know for certain but Ben Garner coming in as his assistant appears to have made a big impact too.
-
Tears of joy here. Honestly this team ❤️ Who’d have thought this a few months ago.
-
Peretz ❤️ Not an upgrade on Baz for some though 😂

Getting farcical now how White hasn’t been booked

Fuck sake THB!!

Should be a yellow there

Quite an important appeal for anyone at the game tonight……with this being Arsenal at home on the bbc, and the entire country watching, if things go a bit pear shaped and we find ourselves 0-4 down, you have a duty to start chanting Thierry Henry’s name for the remainder of the game. Yes it’s moronic and incredibly noddy, but it will show everyone watching how we’re the bestest fans on the south coast, and we can use it for the next twenty years to remind everyone just how great our support is. Also if we go 1-0 up make sure you start crying like the cunt with the bell, and show everyone just how passionate we are. Up the Saints.

Are they fucking thick this lot? (A rhetorical question I know) Imagine putting £55 million of your own money into a club to upgrade its shitpit ground, and entire infrastructure to make it a sustainable club, yet still making a £5 million pound loss in your most recent accounts, and then have your fans telling you to invest or leave. Are they not aware of how PSR works? Talk about short memories.

Not a fan of those red stripes, looks like a sanitary pad 🤣

It is a bit odd that the likes of Italy and Denmark fail to qualify due to the way group staging works but cannon fodder like Cape Verde, Haiti and Uzbekistan will be there.

All bar one of the Ivory Coast squad play in Europe so they’ve opted for a neutral location. Everton put themselves forward as a venue as they want to have an international held there in preparation for Euro 28.

On the Saints page too -
Santa ‘Claus’ was definitely not an 8 out of 10 every week.

Maybe, thought they’d have known that back in January when they announced him though. -

Legends is pushing it a bit with more than a few of them 😂 a nice occasion though I’m sure. What’s happened to Jose though? -
Good to hear this from one of the team, reinforces what all of us knew and no doubt the squad had the same lack of faith in his ability and leadership between the sticks. Hopefully the powers that be that initiated the failed Baz experiment are embarrassed by its results, although I expect arrogance would prevent that.

Question about 50th anniversary shirts from DHGate
bpsaint replied to Midfield_General's topic in The Saints
The one I’ve ordered turned up without the sponsor but it seems these particular ones have an issue with the halo not being stitched properly. Also as OldNick has mentioned it definitely seems a bit brighter than the proper one, although I’ve not seen them side by side admittedly. @Turkish DH gate is brilliant for kids football kits, I’ve bought my daughter 3 now for wearing in sports at school and at around £15 for an entire kit at the rate they grow it’s a no brainer. Quite awkward trying to work out their kids sizing though. -
I remember it well, wasn’t it the equaliser in a 3-3 draw? I recall it being quite similar to the Tugay one you mentioned from the same season. Good shout on that Fernandes free kick too, no finesse just an absolute rocket straight into the top corner. I remember Anders goal against Spurs in the cup quite fondly, that was a hell of a performance that night. Theo against Luton back in the day was a good goal with a cracking lob, same with Che vs City, shame none of us were there to see it.

Benali to Bridge was a hell of an upgrade too.

Really hope that West Ham can pull a few more points out of the bag before the seasons end. Spurs going down would be too funny, another fanbase with an overly high opinion of the size of the club, just like Pompey fans. A year in the championship if not more would humble them a bit.

Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving fanbase. They’ve acted like cunts since the Saudi takeover.
