KWP the only one I give any fucks about to be honest, how on earth anyone sanctioned the signings of Lumley and Lallana are beyond me.

If this was a bloke that was really going to take us to the next level then I’d be all for it, however judging by his stewardship at Almeria that doesn’t seem to be the case. Assuming it’s not all bollocks of course. Anyone on Yacht watch yet?
-
I’ll buy him myself for £3m if it keeps him away from Saints. Got all the midfield presence of a traffic cone that bloke, couldn’t give a flying shit if he’s “one of our own”, lads absolute pish and until he packs on about 2 stone of muscle always will be.

Hopefully this is an inspired bit of recruiting by us but I’ve been burned too many times by SR to get excited. As mentioned previously I’ll give him my full support until he picks Baz/Stephens/Smallbone in a competitive game, if he does that it’s clear he has no idea what he’s doing.

Where’s that post from that Swansea fan that warned us what to expect with Russ and turned out to be 100% bang on. Worth showing it to the Leicester fans.

Just seen a few social media posts about the bird connection with four of this seasons trophy winners, of which three of those teams broke major trophy droughts, and the season Harry Kane finally lifts a major trophy so do Spurs. Funny old game innit.

This absolutely sums it up for me too. Years of plastics giving it the big one. Fuck em, hope this shit carries on into next season for them.

Bruno Fernandes is such a whiney little rat faced cunt. love seeing United be shit, long may it continue

Getting the Still deal done before this season has even finished will be encouraging with regards to prep for next season, that’s practically a month earlier than we got Martin in the door two summers ago. As long as his starting lineup for the first game in August doesn’t contain Bazunu, Smallbone or Stephens I’ll give him my full support.

It’s fair to say the manager recruitment game has changed in the last decade. We’re now seeing more and more players go straight into management, and unknown foreign imports come in based on the way their teams play, and their philosophy rather than results. Is there any manager we could realistically appoint now that wouldn’t have a downside, or a risk attached to them? Ronald Koeman must have been the last manager we bought it that made me think fuck me that’s a decent signing. Unfortunately for a club our size anyone we bring in is going to be a gamble, hopefully if Still is the new man he ends up leaving in a couple of years because he’s done a good job and been poached and not because he’s been sacked.

Glad they’ve had the season that they have, hopefully it’s a sign that teams have figured out how to counter this brand of football and perhaps we’ll start seeing teams move away from it. I think Palace are gonna do it. What a day for them, their fans have been quality. Can’t help but feel a tinge of sadness it’s not us.

Let’s not forget Ronald Koeman!

Boring boring city. God I hope we don’t get another manager that specialises in this possession shite.

Hoping it’s Orient that make the Championship, got very fond memories of our last two trips there and I like Brisbane Road. Never liked the away end at Charlton and we’ve got a shite record there. Plus I was surprised to the The Antigallican pub which was a decent away fans boozer has closed.

Guy I work with who’s almost at retirement age tells me the stories of that day in 84. He came home with a 9 inch scar courtesy of a scouse Stanley blade down his back from the afters, he said he was so full of rage at the result and adrenaline from the fighting he didn’t realise until he’d left the ground.
-
It’s interesting because I feel the opposite to this, I think it’s an awful idea. I still vividly remember that last week at the Dell being at the Arsenal game, Dodds testimonial and then the Brighton game, on the pitch afterwards, celebrating the ground and its history, to seeing it half demolished and how gutted I felt yet knowing it was for the best. Everton don’t have that now, they can still go to their old ground whenever they like, except to see it about 20% full and looking a bit sad. Sometimes it’s best to move on.
-
Let’s be honest it doesn’t matter what team we put out, or what formation we go with, this team is fucking shite and we’re going to get beaten anyway.
-
Yamal showing his inexperience by trying to score another rather than taking it to the corner just before the equaliser! Reminds me of Crouch against Everton all those years ago 😂 fucking Marcus Bent.

Some game this!!

Madness isn’t it. Whatever happened to just scouting talent from across the continent and getting them in for a trial to see if they’re actually decent. 27 years ago we sent a bloke to a country hardly anyone had heard of at the time to scout a player called Marian Pahars, and here we are in 2025 with some bloke that worked for a bank watching videos of a player to see what their xG is or some other shite analytical data. Honestly modern football is bollocks.

As with most takeover rumours opinion will be swayed by who the interested party is. Normally I’d say now is a bad time to sell, but the flip side is if some multi billionaire wants to come in and chuck a load of money at the club then bring it on. Hell I’d even be happy with some head chopping Middle Eastern businessman if it meant some trophies and European football in the long run.
