The amount of goals we scored with the Richardson/Butterfield/Fox ball into Lambert at the back post was a joy to watch. A big centre forward with heading ability like Rickie is key for next season.

My first south coast derby that match. Remember the weird buzz and sense of anticipation in the air on the night of that game that I’d never experienced before, it was fucking brilliant. Like Chez said them booing the silence really made you angry to the core, which whilst not being welcome it did add to the hostility and charge in the atmosphere. Beatties goal really helped relieve that tension in the air, great celebrations to be involved in.

The only reason I’d consider hanging onto him for a little while longer is because we all remember how crap Jos Hooiveld was in the Prem, but what a beast of a defender he was in the championship. It may be the case for Lyanco.

I do like the way Hummel add some bespoke touches to the kits which hark back to our history like the little roses hidden in the pinstripes, and the stained glass window of St Marys church in the goalie kit.

That’s mental, and from my neutral viewpoint incredibly harsh. Even as an ex skate he seems like a really decent bloke. Loved the way he overcame all the abuse and a 4-0 1st leg deficit to win the play offs. Didn’t he get harshly sacked by West Brom a few years ago too?

One thing that doesn’t help with the shirt is that the one used in the revealed are never tailored to the player and they look baggy and a bit crap, especially on someone as slight as Prowsey. Looks better on the store mannequins.
