Probably having to redo the ballot after taking all the London post codes out. Or perhaps waiting until after Wed to see what number of fans (if any) are allowed to attend
-
They emailed me to say it will be based on tier your post code is in when they do the ballot, makes sense. Manchester now has fewer cases than London so I'm expecting it to be in the same tier as london after the next review.
-
Same - shows as being processed on 3/12 but no payment. So still waiting for both Man U and Sheff U
-
I got the same email saying I was unsuccessful but my name should have been taken out of the bowl anyway as I'm in tier 3. I presume it was just a generic email to all season ticket holders who said they wanted to attend but didnt get a ticket
-
Whilst it is common practice there is no officially no such thing as a shared season ticket. therefore only the person who is the named season ticket holder will be able to attend
-
I was in favour of ring fencing some for those fans when it was out of 8k seats But given it is only 2k capacity it doesn't feel right now given there are 10k odd season ticket holders in the ballot now.

I emailed the club as I am in tier 3. They have confirmed that any supporter with a post code in a tier 3 area at the time of the ballot will be excluded from the ballot for that game. So does mean that I could be back in tier 2 once the game actually takes place but will have missed out being in the ballot.

Don't think it is connected to Southampton anymore - ownership passed from the St Mary's Group to Katerina L a couple of years ago.
-
Will be because the confirmation statement is now 3 months late
-
I've still not got my refund for those games either - perhaps I'll give them a call and tell them to hold off on the Sheff utd one!!
-
Hope not. It may depend on what tier the area you live in is currently in. Doesn't help me being in Manchester though.
-
I just need Manchester to get out of tier 3 so I'm allowed to travel!!
-
Correct. Club could be safe on 40 points after 25 odd games and lose the rest. Wouldn't say they were in a relegation battle.
-
Might be ok as according to Turkish he's only got a bit of one
-
Absolutely spot on

In the unlikely event that results go our way before the City v scousers game is anyone thinking long term and prefer a draw so that our title rivals both drop points or just stay top? 🙂

At a very basic level: £180m to buy Southampton or £60m to buy Derby. Potential for ROI significantly higher by buying Derby. Very limited chance of increasing value in Southampton beyond what it is now without spending on transfers. Derby have decent ground and training facilities so it becomes how much do you think needs to be spent to build a squad to get promoted. Spend £60m to go up and then have an asset worth £180m (taking Saints as comparative). Not a bad return. Clearly higher risk with Derby as spending £60m doesn't guarantee promotion plus how much more to stay there but much greater upside if it comes off.

Perhaps it's a personal issue or an illness and the club are respecting the player's right to privacy. He's only a young lad in a new country so needs support

Missing for me too on both phone and laptop (using Chrome)

Yes they are. The meeting today was billed as a focus group and they confirmed that the fans forum will return

This is a plausible scenario. Top 6 won't go to a super League as they know it will alienate even their own fans. But a reduced national League which they control which gives them more TV money and allows them a bigger Euro league is their goal. All they need to do is get a few more on board such as Everton / West ham etc and then others will be too scared of missing out so will sign up. Will be messy but then Sky will follow with the money especially if EFL is supporting it.

Whether she sells her share won't matter. Unless Gao is a fucking moron (which isn't inconceivable) there is no way she has a veto on who he sells his shares to.
-
Proposal suggests it will be done in one season with 5 down and 3 up
-
This is a power grab by the big 6 which is being sweetened by a promise of more money to the EFL. There is no way 9 clubs should have that level of power.

Gone back to being slow and timing out for me unfortunately
