I don't think our situation was ever as dire has Pompeys. Someone was eventually going to save Saints as they had everything (apart from the team) in place to build something strong with a relatively modest initial outlay. Pompey on the other hand are utterly ****ed, as we all know. So it is fair enough that the skates have gotten further sorting something out, because they know their situation is so bad.
