Leave the install disc in the disc tray and restart the computer, during boot the computer should give you the option to boo from the CD (Press any key to boot from CD. . .). When it asks you what kind of install you want to do, click "custom" and it will ask you which disc you want to install on. It will put all of your old files into a folder on C:\ called Windows.old.

I've just got the Lumia 920 and I love it. Been using it for about two weeks and after a few teething problems getting everything synced up, I'm delighted with it. As a hardned Nokia user (fanboy) I buy Nokia phones for the hardware experience as much as anything else. I put up with Symbian for so long only because my last phone did what no phone can (and still can't) do, take a decent photo (the Nokia N8). Nokia phones are built to last. There is no way, no way in hell, a Samsung Galaxy S3 would last a two year contract with me, it feels cheap and flimsy. I can only see good things on the horizon for Windows Phone, I love the way the interface is laid out, it is a joy to use. If the lack of apps is a problem for you then I can see why you wouldn't get on with it, but since it has 90 of the top 100 iOS apps on it now, I don't see the problem. Again, as a person who looks at hardware first, apps don't bother me so much. It's got a few good games, it does all the basics right, the web browser is awesome, what more do you want?
