Polaroid Saint Posted 23 June, 2009 Share Posted 23 June, 2009 Did anyone else see the clips of players back at Staplewood yesturday doing their stretches? I know it was first day back and they might just have other things on their minds but... ...they looked awful. Like a pub side warming up. Am I being too harsh? The players should be encouraged by the sound of a bullish Irishman down there today. I tried catching up with Tony earlier but he was heading for Staplewood. I guess its to see they haven't got the sun loungers out and not to try out for the defence

Pat from Poole Posted 23 June, 2009 Share Posted 23 June, 2009 This is a crucial period. Somebody needs to get some Army boys for a couple of weeks to get the players running up mountains for two solid weeks like Strachan used to do. Make them run until they vom. Otherwise they'll end up like they did under the useless Burley, unable to run in the last half-hour of matches.

I don't often post on this site but read it every day and I have to say that you are possibly the most negative, miserable sod I've ever had the misfortune to not know. God knows what it must be like to be you, but I suggest you go and take a happy pill of some sort. Alternatively, cheer us all up by jumping off the nearest bridge and stop posting on here unless you have something even vaguely positive to say.
