do we know enough..?

they have MLT on board..

they have a man posting on a message board

they have LC on board (not sure if that is good or bad)

are they a bunch of tyre kickers...?

but what else do we know, what is their plans for the club, money involved, the "backer". managers lined up...if we dont go up next season etc etc

do we actually know anything worth while about them...?

MLT - he is no fool and I trust his integrity

Tyre kickers – Doubtful, they have spent a fortune to get to this point

The other two points are probably not too important (to me).

I can’t see they would be asset strippers, there is little to strip.

I feel, for what it’s worth, they are the best current option. in the absence of a billionaire Saints fan coming forward

Do we know enough to what? We're not going to get a vote on who takes over. Obviously, we're all interested and hope it's someone with cash to spare and the interests of the fans at heart. But nobody is going to ask our opinion. We don't know anything about the other rumoured bidders either other than that one of them is linked to someone who looked a bit of a fool at Bournemouth.

In an ideal world, all clubs would be owned by their fans and would be clubs in the true meaning of the word. But they're not so we just have to accept (unless we find £15 million down the back of the sofa) that this is all out of our hands.

OK taking this at face value and not the "disparage Pinnacle" thread that it could become. These are things that I think we "know".

They have a 5 year plan

The basis of the initiative came from a group of property people who approached Tony Lynam. All dropped out bar one.

Tony Lynam is Irish

They will run the business on it's own two feet

They will be able to ask for money of the backer if they feel they need it.

David Defty, has or will be advising the board - potential board member.

They somehow (not intentionally disparaging) produced a significant deposit to enter into a period of exclusivity.

The OS allowed Tony Lynam to post a message on it.

Tony Lynam met with the players at Staplewood yesterday.

We "know" that today might be an important day for news.

i see the words tyre kicker used more and more since Monday......

the fanbase is turning, from all of us wanting and expecting it to all go through more and more and now doubting the credentials of Pinnacle and TL and there ability to conclude this deal.

Unfortunately, I don't think they have a money man with enough motivation to drive the deal through, If it does go through in the end I think we are all going to be underwhelmed with the transfer budget (or lack of) albeit I think they have Matty on board so either he's been suckered (don't think so) or they do genuinely mean well. ALL IMHO.
