sidthesquid Posted 16 July, 2009 Share Posted 16 July, 2009 I spotted one of his machines - a digger - working for the Environment agency behind the sea defences at Selsey the other day. Is there no end to his beneficial efforts for the South coast of England? Has anyone else spotted any Liebherr machines anywhere else?

scruftydog Posted 16 July, 2009 Share Posted 16 July, 2009 There are two of the big drilling machines on the M3 in the roadworks at Junction 3 Camberley (London bound carriageway). Been there for several months but for obvious reasons have only just noticed the name on the back!

charlie saint Posted 16 July, 2009 Share Posted 16 July, 2009 Way back in the late 80s I worked as a draughtsman for a pre-cast concrete firm. One of our jobs (very lucrative, because it involved no design work) was filling metal boxes brought in by Liebherr, to use as counter-weights for tower cranes. Been there for several months but for obvious reasons have only just noticed the name on the back! Ah, yes the eponomous M3 junction 3 Drainage works. I have two excavators, a couple of cranes I have used and I am hoping on doing the Mini Digger or two on the central reserve in my bit of the M3.
