Colinjb Posted 16 July, 2009 Share Posted 16 July, 2009 Any ideas if it's going to be shown at all? Being on holiday I can't make it on saturday and may need to stream at an Internet cafe or something...... Cheers for any suggestions, PM me if 'discretion' is required. Saintjersey Posted 16 July, 2009 Share Posted 16 July, 2009 When the game starts go to google and type 'southampton ajax live video streaming', if it is streaming you will then have loads of sites to watch it on.

CB Fry Posted 16 July, 2009 Share Posted 16 July, 2009 BBC 1 are cutting away from coverage of the Open and will be covering it from 12noon with all the build up following the team coaches to the stadium and in depth build up interviews with Johan Cryuff and Mick Channon. Gary Lineker will be hosting and by John Motson and Richard Chorley are your commentary team.
bungle Posted 16 July, 2009 Share Posted 16 July, 2009 Also, if you miss it live I believe Channel 5 have a whole hour of highlights during prime time on Saturday evening. They are showing it instead of highlights from 3rd day of the 2nd Ashes Test.

Scudamore Posted 16 July, 2009 Share Posted 16 July, 2009 On a serious note i think we'll be lucky to get on tv three times this season Mind you we're always sh:t on the box anyway and i end up sat in a pub on my own because nobody wants to watch Saints with me because they're sh:t so it's not all bad

MulletMan Posted 16 July, 2009 Share Posted 16 July, 2009 http://www.liveonsat.com This is a reliable site. Nothing on there yet but it is possible that a dutch channel will show it.

I wouldn't count on it, nowbody showed the Bristol City vs Ajax game so I'm guessing nobody will show our game against Ajax. Highlights will probably come up on the Ajax channel (http://www.ajax.tv) a day after the match.
hamster Posted 16 July, 2009 Share Posted 16 July, 2009 It will come out on DVD (if you don't mind waiting 3 moinths for it). ;-)

Baj Posted 17 July, 2009 Share Posted 17 July, 2009 On the contrary, those sorts of channels broadcast 24/7, so it's not clever to leave it on 'that' channel and just turn the tv off, because when nipper turns tv on in the morning....

SaltashSaint Posted 18 July, 2009 Share Posted 18 July, 2009 Not sure if this will work, but found this via google. Saint Martini Posted 18 July, 2009 Share Posted 18 July, 2009 And if that doesn't work, AT5 (a Amsterdam based TV-station) will show extended highlights of the game and they will probably be put online as well.
