After 2 matches

10 points from safety and 15 points from a promotion place

The sooner some digest this the better.

Only two games gone, agreed, but we need to get points on the board or before we know it.....well it dosen't bear thinking about.

Alarmist i may be,but i am not convinced that "everything will turn out alright, give it time" really cuts it.The manner of our defeat however does alarm me,very reminisant of the season just gone.We need the winning habit, and quick.

All IMO.

Sounded like the midfield was pretty non existant today so that will have to be fixed before we can progress.

I know it is only early but 1 point from a possible 6 is not very good for a team in our position,we need to erase that -10 points asap otherwise it will become a mental barrier.

Even if we didn't have the -10 at the beginning of the season we would be struggling.

I expect pardew to address any problems and I am confident it will come good sooner rather than later.

Looking forward to Swindon.come on you red and White machine.

Its only the second game of the season against one of the better teams in the league. people need to chill out and have a bit of faith in AP
I wonder how long it will be before every team we play is "one of the better teams in the league"? :-) I remember we used to say that about 1 or two teams in the CCC - until last season when it applied to almost everyone when compared to us (even Charlton at the end)!! :smt047

Why he did not do that well at Charlton so at the moment I am giving him the benefit of the doubt and fully supporting him

Well it will end Tuesday. Swindon are not one of the better teams in the league. If we lose 3-1 to them then we probably are in the crapper. Fact is Millwall and Huddersfield will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. Whether we will be depends on getting in an experienced MF general, a big lump of a CB and a winger with pace, and then using what we have to its potential. I am confident that AP and DW will deliver.
