skintsaint Posted 19 August, 2009 Share Posted 19 August, 2009 all 4 signings under AP have one thing in common.... all British, normally we sign one or two a year from Europe...is this the way to go to get out of this league?...players who know what it takes to get out of the mess of Div1. (waits for AP to pull two Brazilians out of the hat later)...
Pancake Posted 19 August, 2009 Share Posted 19 August, 2009 The amjority of players in League 1 are British. Have a look at the "Current Squads" on the teams Wiki pages to see the amount of English and Scottish flags.
merrimd Posted 19 August, 2009 Share Posted 19 August, 2009 There is one other thing in common that is unusual for us. All 4 are better than what we already had in their position. My god.

S-Clarke Posted 19 August, 2009 Share Posted 19 August, 2009 All the players we have signed so far are players who have been promoted in recent years. They have all played at this level before and are ''proven''. So they are quite shrewed signings...and it's being odne in the right way. Murty with reading, Hammond with Brighton, Harding with Brighton, Lambert with Bristol Rovers...all good news for next season IMO when i have a feeling we could storm it. (please...!)
