Crystal Palace, Southend...Derby?

Crystal Palace and Southend both have big money problems. Saints seem to be on the look out for good players at clubs such as these as the prices are cheaper and you can attract the players(some currently aren't being paid on time). It seems harsh but football has always been like this and is very much a dod eat dog industry.

This in tomorrow's Mirror...

So which Derby players would you like to see put on the red and white?

We should take Derby's best midfielder Stephen Pearson.

27-years old. Typical Scottish midfield battler!

Ex-Motherwell - impressed Celtic enough to sign him in 2004.

2006/7 he played & scored for Celtic in the Champions League.

2007 he signed for Derby. Scored the only goal of the game in the play-off final against WBA which took Derby into the Premier League.

He signed a contract extension with Derby last month until 2012. But - if they've put the whole squad up for sale - they'd probably take an offer!

Happy to do the homework for you Mr Pardew. Make sure my cheque is in the post! ;)

Wouldn't mind getting Savage in alongside Schneiderlin.

Oh Dear! Andy, Andy what are you saying? You want us to take you seriously?

About all that dilettante ballet dancer is good for is handbag fighting with other big girls blouses with hairy manes and too much slap. Poseurs please apply elsewhere.

We want a striker not a strutting bloody pea****!

Would have thought Commons could attract interest from higher up, maybe even a lowly Prem team such as Burnley...

Pearson would be the only one worth a look i'd think, Addison is a good talent but with Fonte, J.O & Seabourne, plus the arrival of another proven CM who can hack potentially Prem football that Pardew has spoken of, I think we'd look elsewhere and TBH, don't really need him at the minute.
