ponto1963 Posted 3 February, 2010 Share Posted 3 February, 2010 Hi, just updated Firefox to 3.6 . It's now doing personas http://www.getpersonas.com They have an Arsenal one & a Liverpool one. Anyone know of a Saints or SaintsWeb one??
Saint_clark Posted 3 February, 2010 Share Posted 3 February, 2010 http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/gallery/All/search?p=southampton&search.x=0&search.y=0 There was a search tool bar in the top right mate. There are three, just from searching Southampton.
Saint_clark Posted 3 February, 2010 Share Posted 3 February, 2010 Having tried all three, they are crap IMO. I'm sticking with Gradient Icool. I might try making one of my own that is a little easier on the eyes, but I certainly wouldn't recommend any of those three. I'd also like to take this chance to say how much better Firefox is than all the other browsers. Thank you.

ponto1963 Posted 3 February, 2010 Author Share Posted 3 February, 2010 Now using Light Streams, which is as close to red & white as I can find at the mo. Agree with you about current Southampton ones.

Somewhere In Northam Posted 3 February, 2010 Share Posted 3 February, 2010 i prefer opera browser, bit slower sometimes, and there are hundreds of thousands of skins for it, bounds to be a few saints related ones in there somewhere

Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 3 February, 2010 Share Posted 3 February, 2010 what are you on about ???? whats a persona ? can I catch it from a toilet seat ? I believe it's a car made by Proton for the elderly, a bit like a petrol-powered disabled scooter.

stevegrant Posted 10 March, 2010 Share Posted 10 March, 2010 Firefox is the fastest, safest and the easiest to use It really isn't. It's safe, but then so is any other browser if you use it sensibly. It's no easier or harder than any other browser. It's certainly not the fastest, particularly in the latest version (3.6). Hideous memory leaks all over the place, I managed to get it to use 1.7GB of RAM last week, and as a result am no longer using it. Google Chrome now has my attention... funkymojo44 Posted 11 March, 2010 Share Posted 11 March, 2010 Having tried Safari, firefox, IE and now chrome, chrome edges it for me. Seems to have most essentials built in, fast clean and simple.
View From The Top Posted 11 March, 2010 Share Posted 11 March, 2010 The major flaw with Chrome is that you can't use the google toolbar which, if like me you use many different PCs/Laptops, contains all my bookmarks. It's superior in plenty of ways but gash due to that.

Use Safari on XP, i like the interface alot - does lack quite a few firefox features though which is a shame.

It's superior in plenty of ways but gash due to that. Chrome does bookmark synchronisation, which saves your bookmarks within your Google account and reloads them into Chrome wherever you are, which accomplishes pretty much the same thing. I would presume the Google Toolbar saves them in the same place, so try turning bookmark syncing on. Hopefully a right-minded individual can create a theme for Chrome that is similar to the Firefox persona

Big Bad Bob Posted 12 March, 2010 Share Posted 12 March, 2010 Doesn't work from the toolbar alas. Download any of the Chrome bookmark extensions (I use this one personally https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/fhaicgmeeafgboeobjagfmlcdhbkijhf) Linked to your bookmarks in your Google toolbar and accesible from Chrome.
