Huffton Posted 11 February, 2010 Share Posted 11 February, 2010 the skates their share of the gate receipts, according to SSN. Now I would never suggest we delayed paying until after the court date, or maybe we should just send it straight to HMRC seeing as thats where it will end up, just cut out the middle man;)
Spudders Posted 11 February, 2010 Share Posted 11 February, 2010 I just laughed out loud at that when they said it on sky, it's almost like sky want us not to pay them for as long as we can! Also said skates get 40% of tickets which is approx £280,000 Plus they get tv money of £247,
Matthew Le God Posted 11 February, 2010 Share Posted 11 February, 2010 It doesn't matter. Saints have to pay Pompey so they can put on any financial report that they will get this money.

Graffito Posted 11 February, 2010 Share Posted 11 February, 2010 Well it's such a small amount I'm sure the club wouldn't want to cause any ill feeling by delaying payment.
Bristol_Benji Posted 11 February, 2010 Share Posted 11 February, 2010 Pompey get 40% of the total gate receipts after costs. So, given Pompey havent paid for their in theory then, would i be right in thinking we can give them the 40% then take off the cost of the tickets we gave them? Seeing as it's a debt they owe i'm guessing it'll be fine to do this?

Colinjb Posted 11 February, 2010 Share Posted 11 February, 2010 People almost forget that we are now a proffesional, fluid and well run entity. We will pay them before the 14 days, we will maintain the moral high ground and it will be immaterial. It won't be enough for them, they will die. If we are well run we will pay them within the allotted time, not early (we would manage out cashflow to our advantage), not late (incurring costs)
Under Weststand Posted 11 February, 2010 Share Posted 11 February, 2010 Didn't I see on another thread that all ticket money should be with the host club at the latest on the morning of the match? I wonder if it they will bring it in cash, a brown paper bag, or an I.O.U in crayon. If its cash I hope NC has someone count it before they sign for it, its likely that they would cut up news paper & wrap a couple of tenner's around the bundles. Bit of a shame that there getting so much out of SFC. Bet they ask for their share of it in used bills.
