aintforever Posted 13 April, 2010 Share Posted 13 April, 2010 I think it was that year we went to Highbury and he ref added on 10 mins after Glen ****erell had his jaw broke. I'm Pretty sure we won the first 3 games, went top, then after the draw at Highbury went on a massive losing streak for something like 18 games. Ewell Posted 13 April, 2010 Share Posted 13 April, 2010 for 1 week in the 1988-1989 season we were top of division 1. We won our first 3 matches against West Ham (h) 4-0 QPR (a) 1-0 and Luton (h) 2-1. We then drew 2-2 away at Arsenal in the famous Paul Davis Glenn ****erill jaw breaking incident! I seem to remember we led 2-0 going into injury time( about 10mins) for the aforementioned incident!

supersonic Posted 13 April, 2010 Share Posted 13 April, 2010 Unless I'm very much mistaken, our first season in the championship (when Harry Kidnapp and Theo were with us) we played Wolves at home on the opening day and drew 0-0. This was an early kick-off (about 12noon-ish, the other fixtures started at 3pm) then we were top of the league for about 2 hours or so. Happy to Help.
