Legod Third Coming Posted 3 November, 2010 Share Posted 3 November, 2010 Is it me or does he look like a man compared to boys? He seems to just brush everyone off - almost looks like a giant swatting flies!
hypochondriac Posted 3 November, 2010 Share Posted 3 November, 2010 Still not as good as I hoped he would be. There are areas for improvement no doubt and he is too inconsistent. I hope he comes good.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 3 November, 2010 Share Posted 3 November, 2010 I do think he looks like a beast. Don't think having him and Bignall up front together is ever going to work though as he needs someone else up there who can receive the ball from the defence/midfield and hold it up a bit. I was surprised that Lambert came off for Bignall last night as I thought it would make more sense to give our player and Guly some game time together. niceandfriendly Posted 3 November, 2010 Share Posted 3 November, 2010 99% sure Guly is not a striker, more of a AMF That 1% of you is correct. His best position is upfront, without a doubt. It's where he can make best use of his wonderful flicks to forward runners and his neat passing. He has been so much more affective upfront than in midfield where he is wasted. SFKA South Woodford Posted 3 November, 2010 Share Posted 3 November, 2010 I think it's great that the opposition defenders look at him and think he's too tall to be quick. Boy do they get a shock when he makes up 10 yards and beats them to the ball. It will be so good once Adkins has got the rest of the team drilled in what to do with the ball when we get it back in defence. Playing the outlet ball to the Ox and Guly and then watching them tear the oppo's remaining defence apart. Especially if they defend as high as Dagenham did last night. Will be even better if Adkins adds a pacy striker to the squad in the transfer window, no team in this division would be able to cope with us on the counter attack then.
