Guan 2.0 Posted 12 April, 2011 Share Posted 12 April, 2011 http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01096md/Late_Kick_Off_South_South_West_and_West_2011_Episode_12/ Bit of Coverage on the promotion race, and how both Rosenior and Murty think that we are ‘nailed on’ for promotion, also talk about our 'magnificent support' (TM Nigel Adkins). Always good to here from Leroy, who I thought was unjustly criticised on here post FLS Saturday, as he's always had a good word to say about us this season, as opposed to 'Human League Hair' Claridge who tends to mumble and navel gaze when saints are mentioned! Turkish Posted 12 April, 2011 Share Posted 12 April, 2011 This programme is shocking. Murty and Rosenior are the worst presenters i have ever seen and they cover far too many clubs so everyone has hardly anytime on there. We had out usual 20 second slot last night i see. Our region goes right the way down the Plymouth & Torquay, 200 odd miles away, it's ridiculous! WTF is the point of that skills bit with Murty and Fletcher? The only people who would benifit from that are young kids who should be in bed by the time it comes on.

Mattio Posted 12 April, 2011 Share Posted 12 April, 2011 The black guys (dunno his name) voice does my head in, especially his pointless comments on the highlights.

stkev7 Posted 12 April, 2011 Share Posted 12 April, 2011 Well I have to put up with the East Anglian version which is presented by Matt Holland with special appearances from Dion Dublin, Darren 'Canary fiddle' Eadie and some young lad from the North East... basically I'd take Murty and Rosenior over those idiots anyday. I thought the "striker standing massively offside" thing was pretty informative actually - of course, outside professional football it'll just be flagged offside by the opposition's cheating linesman nevertheless, but interesting to get a perspective on what the idea behind "making yourself look blatantly offside" is. Having Cheltenham in the same region as Brighton is a tad silly, let's face it.

Pat from Poole Posted 12 April, 2011 Share Posted 12 April, 2011 I think they've had some decent features on there, e.g. the report on Brighton's new ground a few weeks ago and the stuff on Plymouth's finances, and I found the Murty / Steve Fletcher stuff quite good, But yeah, overall it's not a good programme. Far too cluttered. Shame, as James Richardson is very good. Perhaps he should present the programme on his own from a cafe reading a newspaper like he did on Gazzetta all those years ago. So do I, who is that bell end lad from the north east? Although he did think we were nailed on for promotion, so not too bad. You boys are lucky to have Murty and Rosenior trust me. Agree totally, I can live with Brighton, Reading, Bournemouth and (God strike me down!) even the Skates, but ferking Torquay, Cheltenham and Plymouth ! Do me a favour ! I'm sure that Murts and Leroy are decent blokes but I'm afraid they are as out of their depth on the box as they used to be in it !!

The absurdity of Cheltenham being in that region is that living here I can't get the programme and end up watching the Midlands effort. Can't comment about Murty and Roseinoir, but last night the Midlands effort had Robbie Savage - dressed like a Mexican bandit in a shawl - and Darren Moore.
