um pahars Posted 22 May, 2011 Share Posted 22 May, 2011 Or Oxo???? Friend of mine sorted out 25+ tickets (for a very reasonable £5 for adults and £2.50 for kids) so think I will be popping along. Hats off to some decent pricing.
Mattio Posted 22 May, 2011 Share Posted 22 May, 2011 He's in the 20something man squad, Oxo isn't, thinking of going in a box with my mates as its really cheap but will be going anyway!
petermcpete Posted 22 May, 2011 Share Posted 22 May, 2011 Yeah I'm going, does anyone have any idea of how many tickets have been sold?
Matthew Le God Posted 22 May, 2011 Share Posted 22 May, 2011 Is Lallana Playing?? Adam Lallana is in the 40 man squad. It is being cut down to a 23 man squad on Monday. Or Oxo???? Alex Chamberlain is in the England under 19 squad for their games this summer.
Bourno Posted 23 May, 2011 Share Posted 23 May, 2011 Chartered standard clubs can get 25 tickets free and any group booking of 15+ gets half price tickets, so I am taking 40 from my football club.
The9 Posted 23 May, 2011 Share Posted 23 May, 2011 15 tickets (the minimum amount to buy for the discount) at £5 each is a total cost of £75. So you only have to get 8 people interested to split the £75 between you and get a discount on the standard £10 per person admission fee. 8 people is £9.38 each 9 ppl £8.33 10 ppl £7.50 11 ppl £6.82 12 ppl £6.25 13 ppl £5.77 14 ppl £5.35 and if you get 15 along, then it's the £5 stated. Bargain anyway.
theplayer Posted 23 May, 2011 Share Posted 23 May, 2011 The FA usually select a local player to drum up support for the game!

dubai_phil Posted 23 May, 2011 Share Posted 23 May, 2011 e.g Shola Ameobi getting called up to the England squad when the game V Ukraine was struggling to sell out at St James' Park Someone got called up for the U21's years ago for a game at the Dell. Dunno, but I do know Andrew Surman pretty much owes his U-21 career at St Mary's to the FA not knowing that Saints loanee from Aston Villa Stephen O'Halloran was going to be making his St Mary's debut for Republic of Ireland U-21s in the same match. DeanHammond Posted 23 May, 2011 Share Posted 23 May, 2011 DEFENDERS Ryan Bertrand (Chelsea), Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal), Phil Jones (Blackburn Rovers), Michael Mancienne (Chelsea), Micah Richards (Manchester City), Chris Smalling (Manchester United), Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur) That's a bloody good defence for an U21 side. This. And, the fact that he's not playing Euro U21s means he isnt going to be in a potential shop window for other clubs to pinch him!

Dig Dig Posted 23 May, 2011 Share Posted 23 May, 2011 This. The FA are always advocating the development of technique and possession play but have opted for pace and power over a footballing brain again. Oh well, Englands loss is Southamptons gain
S-Clarke Posted 23 May, 2011 Share Posted 23 May, 2011 I don't understand why people are getting so heated about Lallana not being picked - I'm a club man and this helps my club as he'll be fitter for next season.

um pahars Posted 23 May, 2011 Author Share Posted 23 May, 2011 Oh well, Englands loss is Southamptons gain Would have to agree. I think not seeing Lallana for one meaningless game is a lot less important than him having a decent break over the summer.
