Well done Chapel!

Anyone else think the chapel helped a bit in getting the penalty last night?!!! I know their not normally the noisiest bunch but they gave him plenty of stick (well for them anyway) for not giving that penalty, and the ref did look pretty anxious when what looked like the whole stand were shouting CHEAT CHAET CHEAT at him just before the handball. May just be me but little things play on the ref's mind and after that he must of known he made the wrong decision.

why do most seem to think it was at best a soft penalty, the player had his arms away from his body and infront, yes ball to hand but they were put in a position where they could block the cross and would be considered not the natual position of the arms so 100% pen.

After a few games with flat atmospheres, the ref did at least manage to wake St Mary's up, particularly the Chapel end.

I've not seen the "family enclosure" that animated for a while, and it certainly helped us get the pen at the 3rd appeal.

Doesn't have to be deliberate handball for it to be s foul, that's where the point of debate is.

us old boys in the Chapel do the business when required' date=' we hold our nerve unlike other parts of the ground who appear to have started to panic at recent home games[/quote']

That would down to having to stand firm and hold our nerve back in the day Mike.;);):)
