There is so much speculation and conjecture from the media feeding frenzy, that there has to be an element of truth in some of it, just through the law of averages. But as an indication of how much the press knew about the inside story, it appears to have come as much of a surpise to them as it did to us that Cortese had resigned a few months back. Excuse me if I don't place much credence on their ability to accurately predict what the future holds for us based on what they have got right so far.
