Graciously drop out the League?

Is it an option?

Perhaps there might be a space in the Championship if Blackpool continue to emulate us.

End of the day if Jay and Morgan go we will need 10 signings in August which we won't make.

Instead of KL wasting all the money she has recouped we could just rescue Frazer Richardson from Rotherham, Chappy from Millwall, Papa Waigo from Qatar and should have enough this time to sign Antonio.

Fans preferred the Championship according to many on here, and seeing as we apparently have to keep Hooiveld, he was less terrible at that level. Fonte also seems desparate to play there, so instead of letting him go to Cardiff we could just give him the opportunity with us.

Keep the PL for the top boys and go back to where be belong.

Beats being ridiculed all season whilst watching Chambers and Shaw turn into world class players and hearing how "made up" Lambert is at Liverpool. Also, its the type of level Pelle and Tadic are used to so they should do well.

I am being serious here, I actually think it is a strategy, to drop down a league if necessary , with a fair wedge of cash and rebuild. I know people have laughed it off, but it looks like the 'yoyo' strategy is our strategy. I am NOT TROLLING !

Makes huge business sense as long as the Academy production line keeps rolling:

1. Play kids on low wages, maybe get relegated

2. Gobble up parachute payments, sell a couple of kids who looked impressive for inflated fees

3. Walk The Championship

4. Rinse and repeat

Result: huge pile of cash, exciting seasons guaranteed, possibility of a cheeky cup run, sorted.

I got lambasted for saying just that.

Nice plan but assumes it is so easy to get out of the Championship! Have a word with Leeds!

Surely if we only have a championship team now then we have a possibility of being a better championship team than the 3 that came up? Surely it will be just as exciting staying up in the prem on the last game of the season instead of giving up and starting in a lower league.

That way we will still have the massive tv money and would be able to start again here.

At the end of the day (so far) we have lost 5 key players that made us a top 8 team. Surely now we have evened ourselves with the bottom 8 (assuming we can get a couple more players in during the next few weeks)
