rocknrollman no2 Posted 26 December, 2008 Share Posted 26 December, 2008 We need to let ourselves be heard at the Reading game. I doubt Lowe will be bothered about the fans singing about swinging him from the Itchen bridge, but maybe the banks will get worried. Anyway it makes me feel better. I thought we would never see these times at St Marys again. Thanks for nothing judas Wilde!!

derry Posted 26 December, 2008 Share Posted 26 December, 2008 I think maybe the time has come to really make it impossible for Wilde and Lowe to appear at St Mary's. The team selections and tactics are bizarre. We just aren't going to wiin enough games. Any demonstrations would have little material effect on the team or results as they are losing anyway. Until a more balanced team and effective tactics are used we haven't a prayer.

The reading game is going to be an unenjoyable day.I go to watch the football and enjoy the atmosphere, not listen to 90 minutes of the chairman being sung about. He is thick skinned. Thick skull too. I hate Lowe's level of arrogance! Have fans been going and enjoying football and the atmosphere then? Maybe a couple of freak results (Reading, Derby, etc.) but we've been in terminal trouble ages and now is time to protest, rebel, stand up and say "we will take no more of this sh*t". We love this club, they do not. We need to fight and show these self-serving a*seholes that they're not bigger than a club. They have a strangehold on Saints but we need to go out with a fight before they choke the last gasps of hope from our lungs! If you don't want 90mins of "Lowe/Wilde out" then maybe you should hope for a better, more competent chairman...or another club as this one if being killed off by the renown failure, Lowe (and puppet Wilde), than no-one wanted (by a few mentalists on here) to return. Proves all our warning were right. Maybe more should have listened!

InvictaSaint Posted 26 December, 2008 Share Posted 26 December, 2008 until very recently it was ok. 1 win in 12 home games, 8 goals scored (2 of those in one game, our only home win) and average gates of 15-16000 would suggest that whilst this may be your opinion, to which you are of course entitled, it is factually inaccurate... That is not because of the way we are playing or that the team is full of youngsters. Lowe leaves the club tomorrow then I will return cost cutting or not. I know I'm not the only person like this and think you may be surprised on how many would return if he went. Lowe leaving could really unite the fanbase and make a massive difference to the atmosphere at home games which you never know may help the young'uns. The club was heading for financial meltdown and so we had no option but make massive cuts. The issue is that we have been conned, i accept we needed to do something about our financial situation and mixing our youngsters with experienced old hands at the club had my support. But what we have done did not, we actually only play on a regular basis a few lads who have come through our academy we have brought in average young players, except Cork, from other clubs including CCC clubs who frankly are not good enough. The sad thing is our Chairman actually believed that having a dutch coach meant that we could make silk purses out of cows ears

SOTONS EAST SIDE Posted 26 December, 2008 Share Posted 26 December, 2008 LOWE will never give up power! NEVER! We kicked him out last time, and now he's going to make us pay for that humiliation 10fold! We just have to accept that SFC will sink in its current form, with Lowe &co at the helm. Sad as that is, i think this is in Lowe/Wildes plan, to get SFC on the cheap debt free. I hope someone else gets Saints before them, the greedy Barstewards!! Junior Mullet Posted 26 December, 2008 Share Posted 26 December, 2008 I am sitting within easy eye and ear shot of Lowe at the Reading and Man Utd games. I was just thinking of taking a banner with "RIP Saints" on it for the Man Utd game and aiming it in Lowe's direction along with a few non-obscene calls blaming Lowe for killing our club. Just wonder whether I'd get ejected though???? Any thoughts provided I wasnt threatening or obscene?????? I know it won't make any difference to goings on but it may make me feel better. I dont want ot be seen as supporting RL at present while he keeps Jan as manager. I point out that we can llok back at history and that tells us that there are not thousands waiting to come back. I doubt it is more than a few hundred at most. Manchestewr Utd is a sell out, not because 17000 man u fans have got tickets but because 15000 people who are Saints friendly want to watch us against quality pposition.RL is here and they bought the tickets. Jan has to be moved aside and RL is making a massive mistake if he doesnt act soon. Therefor i am surprised that you say the idiot Lowe should move the manager aside. That is insulting as it was the idiot Lowe who appointed the poor guy, i know against a lot of peoples advice. Of course we have financial problems that have neccessitated the need to use our young players. To put in an untried manager at this leval was obviously a totally ridiculous risk and even he may be starting to realse this. He is the one that should go first as he is incapable of leading our club.He is a cancer to football and will end up killing our club, mark my words. And when he has done it he will explain how every one includng us supporters are to blame. So please Nick dont waste any of your sense of fairness on this idiot.
