Why enjoy a good result when there are plenty of poor results to fall back on eh Alpine?

Funny though, I don't recall you saying the same things when we were struggling under Pearson???

Was it a a good result? I suppose we didn't lose though, but neither did we halt the dismal run of home form, which is the worst in the history of the club.

And maybe he wasn't complaining about Pearson because he was steadying the ship. With JP, he has had far more time than Pearson and the ship is sinking. Or hadn't you noticed?

FFS, we all know yesterday was a good performance, and is to be applauded, well done to the lads. But don't let it paper over the cracks. It was still 2 points dropped at home, and continues the trend that we have only won ONE HOME GAME all season. That is an appalling record by anyone's standards. We are now 23rd in the League. So come on, take off the rose tinted specs and see yesterday for what it was, a bright spark, but in the overall scheme of things yet another indication that we will be relegated under JP. To accuse Alpine of being inconsistent is one of the stupidest remarks. We may not always agree with Alpine, but actually he is usually right, and one thing he is always is consistent in his comments. He does not change his mind based on an odd result, but like most sensible people looks at the overall trend and makes judgements thereon.
