alpine_saint Posted 17 January, 2009 Share Posted 17 January, 2009 Saga scoring. This new Dutch CB. Let's hope it all gels under the new manager.
Saint_clark Posted 17 January, 2009 Share Posted 17 January, 2009 Saga scoring, we were actually playing 4-4-2. Now all JP needs to learn is how to play wingers on their natural sides.
ladysaint Posted 17 January, 2009 Author Share Posted 17 January, 2009 Why take off Perry and then play 3 5 2 thought that didnt work at all and we really were not in the game from that point.
Saint_clark Posted 17 January, 2009 Share Posted 17 January, 2009 Why take off Perry and then play 3 5 2 thought that didnt work at all and we really were not in the game from that point. Apparently he thought we weren't good enough in midfield. Personally, i'm of the opinion that quantity is no substitute for quality, but meh. trousers Posted 17 January, 2009 Share Posted 17 January, 2009 Were there any positives today? Yes. I went to see Aldershot Versus Macclesfield instead. Some nice play from both teams. Having witnessed it first hand, I rather suspect we wouldn't walk league 2....
SaintRobbie Posted 17 January, 2009 Share Posted 17 January, 2009 Perry must have been injured? Surely? Otherwise, Portaloo really is thoroughly incompetent.

NickG Posted 17 January, 2009 Share Posted 17 January, 2009 Why take off Perry and then play 3 5 2 thought that didnt work at all and we really were not in the game from that point. played all season with just one decent CB -so thought 2 was a luxury! boxosponge Posted 17 January, 2009 Share Posted 17 January, 2009 Poor guy can't win can he. How many games has he been pilloried for sticking to Plan A. He makes a change for once and still gets pilloried. Personally I really enjoyed my day and I'm even thinking of getting a pro-rata season for the rest of the season. The new defenders plus having Saga back gives me real hope. 3-2-3-2 looked ok to me. Apart from poor James being one of the 3 at the back Perry Size and the new left back would have been better If only the team as a whole could shoot it would be better. So YES, there were positives

1976_Child Posted 17 January, 2009 Share Posted 17 January, 2009 Were there any positives today? YES. At least the Northam end start to sing for Lowe to Go. And the bloke who ran on to the pitch after the game was a ****ing legend. Well done mate. Lowe is a c u n t. He and his ****sucking parasitic greed-ridden bastards in Southampton Leisure Holdings PLC are a ****ing disgrace. To hell with them all. I want our FC back. Not a ****ing PLC. I think that is a fairly succinct and rather accurate summary IMHO.

SoccerMom Posted 17 January, 2009 Share Posted 17 January, 2009 One positive - nipper said, "Oh look, Claus is back!" Cheered him up no end to see a long-haired, lanky CB wearing the number 5. Not much, but I tried!
SaintRobbie Posted 17 January, 2009 Share Posted 17 January, 2009 Actually there is one positive. The start of the end of Lowe and this plc. Its going to be hard and we may have to accept relegation and administration but at least we'll have a chance to rebuild again with optimism.
