Lowe: will we ever be rid off him entirely?

Sorry for starting another Lowe thread. I really fear that Lowe always wants to be part of the club in some compacity. When his reign last came to an end he was biting at the bit to get back in at the first opportunity, he lost power once and he will do everything in his power to make sure that doesn't happen again (I know his latest managerial disasters aren't exactly doing him any favours!) the harsh reality is that this man wants to always be in control of this club. If we are to get this club back on the road to recovery and manage to get Lowe out again whats to stop him coming back for thirds?

When you are forced out a few weeks after a stadium full of fans have stood in unison demanding you go, what would most people do? Probably get the message and skulk back to the obscurity from whence they came. What did Lowe do? Hire a box in the same stadium and spend the next two years plotting his return. For twelve long years this man has used our club as a platform on which to preen his over-inflated ego; he’s got no intension of stepping down now. Sadly.

Just a question can you think of any other chairman who has appointed so many managers, then sacked them ?

I haven't got the stats to say whether Lowe has been through more managers than any other chairman, but he's by no means the only one to have a hire and fire reputation:

Mandaric in his capacity as Chairman of Pompey and Leicester. 4 managers at Pompey and 5 at Leicester in little more than 18 months.

Doug Ellis at Villa - hated by their fans, often referred to as Deadly Doug because of his tendency to fire managers.

Simon Jordan - Palace have been through a few in his time and the departures are ofter acrimonious.

Freddie Shepherd at Newcastle - Dalgliesh, Gullitt, Robson, Keegan, Roeder, Souness between '97 and 2007.

Daniel Levy at Spurs - 8 managers since arriving in 2001.

Not trying to make out that Lowe is successful or somehow absolved of any blame, but he's not the only chairman with a record of multiple managerial appointments as you seem to be suggesting.
