Time for an external review of footballing side

My thoughts,

In business, when things aren’t going well, a review takes place- which can often be led by an outside person or organisation. I think someone should be brought in for a short time- week or two- to assess the club's footballing side – to ask questions and highlight areas of weakness where things could be improved. Someone who has been there, done it and knows football players and clubs well.

Someone like Neil Warnock or Sam Alladyce – football managers with success in getting promoted from the Championship and building unity in squads - and could offer some insights for Sports Republic and Tonda to learn from. (There are other examples of quality ex managers out there- Martin O'Neil would have been good...)

It’s the fact that a Football person will spot and recommend relevant changes that don't need to de-stabilise the club. The cost of these consultants should be worth it.

Now is as good a time as any with fewer matches.

I'll save the consultant some time. Things aren't going well because the leadership, manager and players are weak-minded, incompetent and not as good as they think they are.

Who do I invoice?

That will happen over Rasmus Ankersen's dead body.

Good idea, but who is going to sanction it ?

The only person who might put this in place is Dragan, and as Dark Munster points out his chief adviser is the one who probably obstruct it. Why does Dragan or anyone else need input from a dinosaur like Warnock when they already have the genius of Rasmus on hand to tap into ?

But any external audit would be sanctioned by the current owners anyway, so it's a bit of a moot point really. A lot of money on a consultant for very little benefit.

Man Utd brought in Ralf Rangnick as a manager/consultant, he called out the problems and what needed to change, but the club didn't like that so they ignored him and dumped him early.

The only way it would work is if an outside body, such as the EFL, sanctioned a review outside of the control of SR. But that doesn't happen and won't ever happen.
